Well to be fair this isn't entirely true scientists can't fully restore a species after its extinction though, they can create a hybrid which is 50 percent extinct and 50 percent the host species. Also since the fossil is around 115 million years old and it's not in optimal conditions scientists won't be able to extract any viable DNA to bring the species back.

And to think we as a nation are having these same issues more than 10 years later.
