This is a really good book, especially if you like Jen Calonita's other series, Fairy Tale Reform school or if you like fantasy/fairy tail books.
SPOILER ALERT
This book ends with a cliff hanger, so if you are someone who HATES when there is a cliffhanger and the next book isnt out, you MIGHT want to wait a few months to read it.
This book is similar to the fairy tale reform school series, but if you haven't read those, it will still make sense and the plot/characters are BARELY connected. There is only one part that says something, but it explains later.
The main character is a royal named Devinaria (Devin) Nile and can talk to animals. She is NOT your regular pretty pink princess. She likes to get her hands dirty and wear pants. Her dream for the future is to talk to and help animals in need, but that dream is almost crushed when her invitation for RA (Royal Academy) comes. When a villain "breaks in" Devin and her friends realize that Olivina, the famous fairy Godmother, is NOT what she seems. After a few weeks at RA, Davin is very close to being expelled, and does not wait for a prince to come to the rescue, like Olivina thinks she should, during her "tests".
