1. There was a word that I didn't know the word was electronics. I click on the blue word to read about its definition the definition is the science dealing with the development and application of devices and systems involving the flow of electrons in a vacuum. Once I understood the meaning of the word it help me to understand the author's message. It help me to understand what the article was about.

I figured out the word "anomaly" by using context clues. The article told me that cats' eyes are normally green or yellow. I can conclude that a cat with blue eyes definitely does not follow the norm. Therefore, anomaly means to not follow the rule or what is typically normal.

If I didn't know what the word "depletes" means, I would be able to use context clues to figure it out. The author used the words, "emptying the bottle down to the very last drop" in the sentence after the one that used the word "depletes." By using these words around it, I can infer that when something drains out of a container, it is depleted.
