Jacqueline Woodson, the author of Miracle’s boys, is a very well written award winning book that takes its readers on an emotional journey. The main characters of this story are Ty'ree, Charlie or NewCharlie, and Lafayette who all live in Washington heights, Manhattan. The main plot of this story is that Ty'ree, Charlie or NewCharlie, and Lafayette's parents died so the eldest brother Ty'ree had to take on a full time job to support them. This isn't the kind of book I like but if you like dramatic medium paced books then I would definitely recommend this one. Want to know more?
