All the safety measures are necessary and I am grateful to the firefighters and many others who risked their lives to save others.

These marches and protest are necessary in order to preserve our future and protect our educational rights. Its a sad day when our kids are leading the fighting stance out of ear. I believe in protecting oneself but I am also a teacher and I have 49 students this year. Although we have drills in case something like a shoot out happens, it leaves one in a mental state of unassurance and constant fear. If this can happen in one place it surely can happen in another. I believe the safety measure in place in various locations across the nation are necessary.
