Hey I liked a book called Because Of Mr. Terupt. You should read it, It has a happy ending like if you like those books!!!!! ps. Do u like my avatar?????

I will definitely give Because Of Mr. Terupt a try! And I love your avatar! Especially the purple background!

You're avatar looks awesome! I think I have that book. I'll check it out!

Cool! Thanks for your suggestion!! Your avatar rocks!

Hey guys, I have started 5th grade and I'm really scared and nervous any suggestions?

Don't be nervous! I moved in the fifth grade and basically every kid my age was a boy. At first I hated it, but ultimately I think it helped me make more friends and not just talk to girls. I would say, just be nice to everyone, and don't pay attention to those who aren't nice to you.

Hey, Its normal to be nervous, 5th grade is really fun! You can learn new things, have your own locker... In my 5th grade, you get to decorate the windows for halloween!

Hey, 5th grade is cool! I'm in 5th,too and it is awesome!!! And you'll have a chance to make new friends and learn new things!

Don’t be nervous 😀 fifth grade is an awesome grade to be in! In fifth grade, I found it helpful to keep a planner, with all my extra curricular activities and homework in it. Good luck, and have a great year!

hey... I'm started 5th grade too

The teachers are there to help. Even though it's not "cool" you can still ask them questions! Don't mind the older kids, a lot of them are really nice! If you joke with them they will joke with you! And read! If something goes bad get into your favorite book! Hope this helps!

It’s great! I love the color combination!

Hay Guys haven't been on hear 4 a long time can anybody fill me up And BTW don't forget to follow me!

We’ve started talking about school tips, and helping each other out!

And the editor has asked us to help make book quizzes!

School's about to start (or already has started!) and NATgeo is on the move! We've been sharing tips and favorites!

Since the school year is beginning soon, I'd like to share some study tips. Try placing gummy bears on your homework after milestones in your studying. For example, after every paragraph in your reading, every problem in your math, etc. This uses food as an incentive, which always seems to help me. Try setting a timer. Instead of saying, I'll write 4 paragraphs of my essay today, try setting a timer for 30 min. during which you will write as much as you can. I find this helps me to get more done. Instead of just saying, I'm done, after 4 paragraphs, you might be forced to write more and still not feel too overwhelmed. Try studying with a partner. You can help each other with notes, and a buddy keeps you accountable so you can't put it off, which always helps me. I hope these tips and tricks helped and gave you some ideas for the new school year!

Thanks so much!!! These suggestions are the best!

Thanks! I will definitely give them a try!

wow that's a great suggestion! I like this book club A LOT. like this if u think too

OMG - I loved the gummy trick - except I can’t eat gummies so I’ll use regular candy! :)

if you don't mind me asking.... do you have braces that you cannot eat gummies? i love gummies!!!

Sorry if I'm the wrong person, lol but I dont like gummies, they always get stuck in my teeth and then its easy ill get a sugar rush

LOL it's ok but just so you know, me LOVE LOVE LOVE GUMMIES!!!
