Hi guys! You prob wont believe this but..I have a friend who does NOT like any kind of books! But I'm not giving up on trying to make her read, I tried graphic novels, harry potter.. but she says she hates it when half of the first page is done! Can I plz have some recommendations? Thx
Also maybe an audiobook? That way she doesn't feel like she's wasting time reading? Or she can do something while reading!
Everyone who hopes to experience MAJOR awesomeness needs to read Harry Potter! I know it's the one that's like, always recommended, but there's a reason. IT'S AMAZING!!!!!
What grade is she in?
Some people just don't like books. Maybe you could read in front of her and tell her the book is amazing. She may get intested in books.📚
WHAT!!!???? That is SO wrong!
Maybe since she's your friend you could write a book for her, since it's by her friend, she might try it!
Good idea!
Thanks!
Try "Stone Fox" It's a really good book that makes you wanna read more. It keep you on your toes. At the end, I even cried.
That book is so so sad!
That is an amazing book.
have you tried out of my mind? maybe seeing things from someone else eyes will get her reading?
She needs to read these three book series: Harry Potter (By JK Rowling) Percy Jackson and the Olympians (By Rick Riordan) The Kane Chronicles (Also by Rick Riordan) Keeper of the Lost Cities (Shannon Messenger) Michael Vey (By Richard Paul Evans)
I would try giving her an easier funny book, like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Dork Diaries. Those are the type of books that got my brother and other friends into reading, so it might work for her!! :)
Which graphic novels? Maybe they didn't suit her style?
They were by: Raina Telegemier. Her books are: Sisters, Smile, and the babysitters club
Hmmmmm.....Maybe a series like Fablehaven? Or a good stand alone book? I know A Year Without Autumn is really interesting!
I think what you need is a book that's interesting right when you start it. I'd recommend Code of Silence or others like it. Be forewarned, it's a little scary. I'd also try the Theodore Boone series.
yeah. I agree!!!
So sad😔 maybe start her of on something like diary of a wimpy kid, then move on to books from places like Scholastic, THEN go to the larger books like Harry Potter, and The Land Of Stories. Good luck!
Thats also a good idea! I decided to start on dork diaries, then maybe in a few monthes, Harry potter!
Also maybe you could read the same book as her then talk about it!
Wow, that's hard. I think trying The Series of Unfortunate Events is good.
Yes! It is very intriguing!
Hey, does anyone like chickens. Alive, loud, fuzzy, chickens! I have 24 but only my hens have names.
Yeah, they're okay. I used to have six. One was a rooster by accident, so we had to get rid of it, one was eaten by a raccoon, and the rest we gave to my uncle when we moved.
Hmmmm... I’ve never really thought about chickens 🐓 much, but our school has a couple of them that we keep as pets in our courtyard 😊
