fun facts about the new (and my favorite) season autumn 1. Jack 'o Lanterns used to be carved out on turnips! 2. pumpkin spice has nothing to do with pumpkins it is actually made by 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon, 2 teaspoons ground ginger, 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg, 1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice and 1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves. 3. in ancient times people wore costumes to escape ghosts 4. most of your weight gain in autumn isn't actually completely caused by all the food you eat at thanksgiving or the candy you eat at halloween it is actually because of the lack of vitamin D caused by a lack of sunlight 5. fall colors don't happen as mysteriously as you think they actually happen because of the high amounts of sugars in the leaves! Thanks to missdogobooks10 for inspiring this with here "Fact Time" hope you enjoy these facts! Feel free to use them to sound smarter than you already were to your friends

I have a couple of book recommendations for everyone! First off you all should read the book A Year Without Autumn! And the Trilogy 13 Treasures! Hope you guys enjoy.

OH! I haven't actually finished the 13 Treasures trilogy......I started it awhile ago. The Author's writing is very captivating though

Tell me if you guys try them! (or want a summary!)

I'll try those out! Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey guys! Fact time: 1. The first number with an A in it is one thousand! 2. Remeber when you were little you would play ring around the rosie? That song is actually about the black plague in 1881! 3. Identical Twins do NOT have the same fingerprint! Thats the only way to tell them apart!
