I need some advice!!! I am starting middle school this year and am really nervous! Can i have some advice about middle school? thx- ilove2read.

I would love to do a follow for follow if possible!

Oh my gosh! I am starting middle school this fall and too and I am freaked out. Thank you for mentioning something about it!

I started middle school last fall as well as @lovetoread26. I was pretty nervous changing from my elementary school to middle school. Advice that I could give is.. don't be afraid of sticking up for yourself, make new friends but still keep your old and do all your homework. I liked having different teachers and different classes, it gives you a different group and different teacher to work with each hour. Good luck in middle school, I think you will really enjoy it! <3

Just be yourself, don't try to change yourself because of other people, you be you!!

i am starting middle school too.i hope it is not as bad as everyone says

I'm starting middle school, too.... I need some advice as well. But i'm worried because I read so many middle school fiction books and they all portray the students as MEANIES!

No problem. I started middle school this year, and all you have to do is find your group of friends. Ignore any teasing and focus on school.

I am going into 8th grade this year after being homeschooled my entire life, and I'm really nervous as well. We'll both be fine :)

Don't be nervous! Just stay true to your personality, look for old friends and try to make new ones, get plenty of sleep, stay away from any bad habits other kids may be doing, use extra study aid for hard subjects (like Quizlet or Khan Academy), and in your free time make sure to take a moment to relax and unwind by doing a hobby/reading a book!

I am also starting middle school! even though i haven't experienced it yet, my motto is if i try my best, i survive. so just keep going, and always try 110%. i think u will do awesome on whatever u do!!!

middle school is easy be nice to everyone so you have no enemies and study hard follow me for more advice

I started middle school last fall, and it's not as bad as everyone tells you it is! Here is some advice: 1. Be yourself!! 2. Try your best. 3. Keep on top of assignments. 4. Make time to hang out with friends, life is not all schoolwork! 5. If you are having trouble or are unhappy, talk to a teacher or counselor! Hope this helps!! I love how our usernames are similar :) :) :)

Thank you for the tips! I am starting middle school this year!

Another tip I forgot to add: Use a planner or calendar to write down when things are due. That really helped me!

Thankyou! I started middle school a year ago and I thought that it would be scary, but it is not that bad at all! I am going to 7th grade soon at a new school... I am nervous because I am moving...

Hey @ilove2read! I just started middle school last year so as you can imagine I was so nervous when I started doing the homeschooling because of quarantine. Yes, I was nervous at first also but you'll be fine. Just know that your friends will be there to help you along the way. You're not alone. Stay safe!😁

Yes, me too!! I would love some help, I am starting middle school in August. I am so nervous but I have an older sister, so hopefully she can help too. If she has any tips I will be sure to tell you!!

Welcome @shadowsight!

I love books, can anyone tell me an interesting book? I'm bored because of COVID-19.

I'm guessing you have already read the Harry Potter series? Well, you should read diary of a wimpy kid or maybe the Percy Jackson books!

i am also bored. i would tell you Percy Jackson if you already read that then the hunger games. please follow me.😃

The Candymakers is really cool, it is written from 4 different perspectives, and I also love the Fog Diver, which is kind of post-apocalyptic but not gory or too scary if you like that sort of thing

Maybe the Warrior Series?
