chickens are seriously underrated- people think they're dumb but mine are really smart and even do a few tricks & walk on a leash. They make really good outdoor pets and only shed twice a year, and with lots of love (and being held a bunch), become really friendly! Their huge and goofy personalities make them wonderful companions... mine even come running when I step outside! Fresh eggs are always a great bonus! You can usually even find some for free this time of year.
Yeah, your right, chickens are awesome. My little brother has tried to train some of them but he hasn't gotten very far lately.
