I posted this comment in the WHO article on COIVID-19, but thought you guys might want to read it. Enjoy! Hi! This article was posted on March 15, 2020. The day I'm writing this is February 20, 2021. We're coming up on a year from when this article was published and things are better, but still hard. I haven't been to stores as much as I used to go- for example, I went to the grocery store yesterday for the first time in a week or so. While this horrible COVID-19 is still going on, I'm trying to think of some of the positivity of the pandemic. One for me is that I got closer to my family. Yup, real close. I also read more and discovered my favorite series: KOTLC. As well, I feel that the DOGO community has gone closer and is the best part of my day. As well, I have been taking walks around my neighborhood and biking. I've also learned a lot about myself and got more courage too. While 2020 and COVID-19 definitely took a toll for all of us, stay positive and remember the ones we love an

Wow, thank you for this positive message. That really brightened my day :)

Wow, this is such a deep and inspiring message! It really motivated me!

Wow! Yes, I agree! That is beautiful and inspiring! You just made my day!

(Oops, ran out of room. Here's the rest.) and remember the ones we love and lost.

Hi all! I know that there is a LOT of new people joining this book club, so I thought I'd do a little about me again. I am in 5th grade and am going back to in-person school on Feb. 22nd. I love Keeper of the Lost cities and am a big book worm. My own book is getting published soon and I support everyone here. My follower goal is 300. I live in the USA. My favorite sport is volleyball and I enjoy drawing. I am a beginner skateboarder. I'm upcoming on my 4th year on DOGO. That's me! Have a great day, everyone!

I´ll follow you could you follow me back

Super cool! I'm in 5th grade too and I love to read! Also, it would be really cool if you can tell us what your book is called. I would love to read it!

Here's a few things about me too. My name isn't Ashley, I just like that name. I am in 6th grade. I guess we can't put birthdays. I like Wings of Fire and I also love marvel. I like to play online games and I also like to draw. I've been on DOGO ever since late 2019 around September or October. Thanks for listening!

We have a couple of things in common. {Question do u play volleyball?}

I used to and will- Just waiting for COVID rates to go down!

It's called Fresh Start and isn't quite in stores yet...

Cool! What is your book called? I would love to get a chance to read it!!!

Is 5th grade middle school for you??

Yup! you?

nope lol, 6th grade is when middle school starts for me.

Wow-I am in 5th grade as well and i like drawing too! Also stay safe if you are going back to school.

Thank you!

Is skateboarding fun? I've wanted to try it. What's your book called? I want to read it, and I'm sure it will be awesome!

Skateboarding is fun! My book is called Fresh Start, and alas, it's not in stores yet, but hopefully soon!

@gold3nglare: Hi!! I replied to one of your posts about book recommendations, but I can't believe I forgot the Hunger Games and Divergent series!! Have you read those?? You definitely should. Also, I just realized I'm not following you :( so just did!! To everyone, have a great day!!

I just read the Hunger Games trilogy and loved it! I made my family watch the movies with me, too :)

I'm still working on convincing someone to watch the movies with me- no one wants to except my dad so I'll have to watch with him sometime after his work.....

I have not read those, so I'll give them a try. Also, I'll follow you back!

I hope you like them, and thanks!! :)

Hey!! I just wanted to shout out to @rainbowbite, @kurz, @gold3nglare, and broclyyy. Maybe follow them and follow me too! Thanks!

Those are awesome people!

I live in australia and I have been through loads of droughts and so on , it is hard but it will be fine in the end ! Hope ur family r ok !

Oh! Hope everything will be fine soon...

That's not good! Where i live (in the southern US), we had one of the worst ice storms and cold temperatures in the past 100 years; our power and water was out for days!

That's bad. I hope the weather gets better soon where you live! I live in the midwestern part of the us, and it was really cold last week (like negative 15 degrees)!

Heard about the rolling blackouts, wishing you hope, courage, & strength from Missouri!

I hope everything gets better soon!

to bad, hope you and your family are alright.
