So you know how I once gave you guys a preview of a book I was writing? You know, the comic strip I planned on turning into a novel? Well... I gave up on that. That wasn't the book for me. But I'm writing another book that I have great faith in and that I don't plan on giving up on. I haven't even come up with a name yet! I'm just writing whatever comes to mind for this. No planning or anything! It's just coming from the heart. I guess I'll come up with a title when I'm finished. This new book is about an 11 year old girl who has an abnormal ability and one day she gets found out. Everybody on Earth knows that if you are one of the handfuls of kids on the planet that have a superpower or supernatural ability, you get sent away to a school for kids with powers. At that school, you're under constant surveillance, you must wear a tracker on your ankle, and you're kept there until 12th grade. By that time your power has indefinitely faded away. (Reached the character limit) classmates and decides she's done following her schools strict rules and guidelines. She hatches a plan with her classmates, Gobi Morales, wielder of selective telekinesis, Joshua Daniels, the imitator, Millie Michaels, who's power source comes from the emotions around her, Miguel De La Rosa (Now you see him... now you don't!), Justin McBroom, master of water, Oliver Ryan, who can disappear into the shadows, and Genesis Meyers who doesn't seem to have any powers, to show the world their powers. The main character is tired of being told to hide. Like she's a freak of nature. They post a video of them showing off their powers and the main character gets in trouble with the principle. However, she's let off the hook with a warning because nobody's going to think that the vid is real anyway. Our ma
main character and her classmates feel a sense of accomplishment. The following day, intruders break into the building. Everybody is evacuated into the secret underground tunnels of the school leading to a safe house. Our main character and her classmates fall behind and are taken by the intruders.
