Hey i haven't been on DOGO for a while. Went to Montana for camp with my church and it was AMAZING! I have finished my first week of school, and am soooooo happy to be back on DOGO. If anybody went to Great Western Presbytery Teen Camp in Montana pls tell and friend me pleaseeeeee. Thank You!!!! ~ PetVet09 P.S. Im homeschooled P.P.S. Who else here has entered 8th grade besides me??

I have been to Montana, but I've never lived there. I'm in 7th grade, but I have a friend who's in 8th. Good luck with 8th grade!

Hi! I haven't been on Dogo for a while too, so no judgement from me! I haven't been to that camp, but I am glad you had fun! To be honest, I've never gone to any camp, only VBSs at my former church back in LV. I guess I always think I'd miss my parents too much. Plus, I don't like talking to strangers. I'm in 7th grade but we're close! Good luck! (P.S I started last week too!)

Same! My cousin also just entered 8th grade, I`m only in 7th grade, so u`re not alone, at least!

Aww man I wish I went to Montana! It's soooo cool up there! And congrats on your first week! Also my sister just entered 8th grade, you're not alone, you're gonna do great!

Woo... how does it feel like being homeschooled?

ive been in public school before and i like public better lol

Well.....ive been homeschooled all my life so. Its fun tho. I like it. How does it feel to be public schooled?

Wow.. I mean, there are pros and cons to going to a public school. For example, you can make new friends almost everyday! A con is all of the drama.. Phew! But I love school in a weird way, it's like a second home to me! Sort of haha.

great ! I love homeschooling , I don't know about the rest but I think its a lot of fun! 😏

WHAT I AM ABOUT TO "SAY" IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! Okay, now that I've gotten your attention I would like to say that we are in a severe climate crisis right now and if you haven't heard yet, there are severe droughts all over the world. Not only is it affecting us, but it is also affecting the plants and animals. And that is only one problem we have, there are so many more, like deforesting, pollution, and we NEED to take action. I'm not writing this to get a bunch of likes, no I am serious. Once you read this tell the people around you to take action! Little things can make a BIG difference!

Great post! Loving this post, and also, yeah, I agree, could it be an climate change?????????

I'm gonna be honest..I'm afraid of everything and climate change is one of my fears. I'm scared of anything that can possibly make something bad happen. also its like we have a whose bunch of activists on Dojo lol.

Oh, wow! @dream_beyond turn climate activist! I'm just teasing, I agree. Most of you know where I live, but if you are new to the club, I live in New York. Here we are experiencing drought and it is really hurting plants and grass. Great post! 😃

yesss thats what im talkin about!!!!!!!!! this is acttualy serious guys

I agree. We really need to start doing things 🌱🌱🌳🌎🏞❤🌎

I totally agree! We humans have dug ourselves into the hole of climate change by burning coal, cutting down trees, etc. We need to get OUT of this hole. But right now, there aren't that many realistic and affordable solutions. Most people can't afford electric cars and solar panels. Still, we need to do things like planting more trees in places where they'll survive, stop killing animals and eating so much meat, and making solar/wind/hydro power more affordable. Save the earth!

I totally agree. Solar panels and electric cars are expensive but honestly it i'll be a huge money saver in the long run.

i agree, This world isn't going to get better if we don't do any action now. unfortunately there's not much I can do because my parents won't let me donate to anything! But whoever can donate, please do!

I know!! I have been saying that on so many articles, but it usually always ends up on the second page of comments where no one can see!! I agree with you, we, as a species, need to help slow down the climate crisis! We are definitley changing climates right now, but how humans go about their everyday lives are just speeding it up! Way to fast to be natural! If this keeps going at the scary rate it's going in, we'll lose so many plants & animals!Things you can do right now is: Close doors immediately so heat does not escape. Take short showers. Walk or bike if you can (instead of having your parents drive you). Turn off your computer when not in use. Run the dishwasher and other appliances on energy saver mode. Keep the house at 68°F or less. And make sure the heat goes off at night and when everyone is away. Replace incandescent with fluorescent lights. (This saves a lot of money!) Convince others around you to do the same! We together can make a big difference before it's too late!

G'day readers! Almost done with my first week of school! Sports are already starting to pop up! I just made the cross country team and I'm trying out for volleyball! Wish me luck! I'm also campaigning to be the President of the SGA! That means Student Government Association! I'm sooo nervous! There are so many other people applying for the position! I hope I have strong speech! Anyways, here is another mini animal trivia for you guys! 1) What farm animal doesn't have teeth on their upper jaw? 2) Which fish is known to be the fastest in the ocean? 3) What animal is known to be the fastest bird in the world? 4) What two animals are the only known mammals to lay eggs? 5) What object does a male penguin often give to a female penguin to win her over? Let me know your responses in the comments! I'll be doing this whenever I can, so follow me for more! Have a stellar day everyone! -adroit

OMG girl good luck I'm in cross country too

1. goats AND maybe sheep 2. Pacific Sailfish 3. The Peregrine Falcon (sky ) ostriches( land) 4. platypus and echidna 5. Pebbles

Nice answers! The fact male penguins give female penguins rocks for a gift is pretty funny though!

Good luck with your SGA speech! You're going to do great! My answers for the quiz: 1) cow 2) black marlin (I think?) 3) peregrine falcon 4) platypus and echidna 5) I'm not sure. Thanks for the quiz!

I'm homeschooled is any one else? and I'm learning germane anyone else ? what do any of you know what this means ? ( deutsch ist nicht einfact , aber ist nicht schwer! )

That means: is not easy, but is not difficult!

I'm not homeschooled, but I'm in a Spanish I class! Also it much be soo cool to learn German!

I`m also homeschool, too! And I`m learning, Portuguese and Spanish!...

yay! I'm thinking of trying a new languages with my germen, any suggestions ? ohhh and how do you like homeschooling? I love it ! I tried Spanish once, but then the website I did it on broke, but then I saw duo (the website I do it on ) and I saw germen, and if I do say so my self I'm not to bad at germen 😏 when did you start Portuguese and Spanish? 🤩

About homeschooling, I LOVE it! In my home state, there group called BHAME, that group is for homeschooled families only, there so many fun events to do with other homeschool kids! Right now I learning Portuguese so, I have Portuguese test coming up, ahhh i`m so nervous! 😑. And I starting Spanish for my 7th grade course, so yeah, I`m starting 7th grade next month, so i`m so excited! And when I get down with two languages, Portugese and Spanish, I will speak 4 languages! ASL is my first language (ASL stands for American Sign Language) bc i`m Deaf, English is my second language (English became my second language when I only about 5 or 4 years old), Right now I still taking Portugese and will start taking Spanish next month along with my other school subjects! That`s good question for other language along with your language of germen, what about idk, maybe sawhli or something, idk... And also did I followed you yet or didn`t I?
