I noticed and I'm loving it!
Looks good!
Hiya peeps! Super quick question: What languages can y'all speak? My answer: I can speak english, german, chinese, and french! Have a fantastic rest of the day!
ASL, and English (kind of)
Girl, English is also one of my natives, but it's still so harddddd
Really?? Imo, your English is really good! Mine on the other hand is.... struggling.
Thank you!! My grandma is very proper with her grammar, so I've learned proper grammar (to the point I struggle to read improper grammar, a red flag, I know :( ), so thank you!! And yours is really good!!
English, Hindi, Gujrati,
English and Chinese! Wow! You're so smart to speak so many languages!!!
Aw, thank you so much! You are too<3
You're welcome! I'm planning to learn Japanese but it's so hard!
ASL (American Sign Language), English, and I'm learning both Portuguese and Spanish
Fluently English and ASL (American Sign Language). Not fluently Latin and Parisian French.
I can speak Chinese (Mandarin and I understand Cantonese, English, and a little bit of Japanese! Just curious, do you speak Mandarin chinese, Cantonese chinese, or both? Thx!
Wow, that's really cool! I speak Mandarin Chinese. And no problem!
English and some Spanish... I'm still learning.😀
Nice, practice makes perfect :)
Wow, you can speak so many languages!
Well, english and chinese are my mother tongue (my chinese needs significant improvement though, maybe we could practice^^), I had to learn german when I moved to Germany, and I'm taking french at school (so far, it has been a 3 year journey).
I know a bit of Hokkien too! I take Taiwanese Hokkien classes at school, although I'm really bad at it!
Me too! Taiwanese is so hard for me!
My mom said Hokkien is similar to Taiwanese, apparently not the same? She said she used to speak Taiwanese, mostly with my great grandmother, but said she now forgot most of it. I'd love to learn though!
Yeah, Hokkien is similar, but personally I think it's harder then Taiwanese!
Ohh, okay, I see
Mandarin and English- that's it!
Nice!!
I'm going to sound super dumb but I can only speak English. 🤪
Don't worry you are not the only one lol 🤣
Haha, good!
You're fine!! ;)
Lol, thanks! I take Spanish next year in school so fingers crossed that goes well
I'll be praying for you!! 🙏
Aww, thanks! I'm pretty nervous about it but I hopefully I'll be able to practice with some friends
Okay, that's good!!
That's ok! :)
Thank you, it's only a little embarrassing 😂
No, not at all dumb! Everyone's different and that's totally ok!
Ha, thanks!
So... I have a question for everyone. Do you like Lord Of The Rings, and if you do who is your favorite character/s? Mine are Gandalf then Aragorn.
I've actually never read those :)
I've heard many people talking about it but I haven't seen it yet!
I haven't read/seen it yet! I heard it was Christian related, similar to Narnia?
Narnia books and movies are great!
I totally agree!
Yes, actually C.S. Lewis helped bring J.R.R. Tolkien to Christ. It is somewhat like Narinia but also not... In my opinion it is actually better than Narnia. In That Hideous Strength, Lewis names one of the places in Tolkien's world.
I didn't know you knew that!
Yeah, you're right! I actually did a book report about him last year for school!
Huh, that's interesting, I never knew that
