Hey MissDogoBooks10! I like what you like, the music and reading part! I've never really tried pottery, but maybe I would like it too! And lol, I will ALWAYS remember to read! Hope you have a great end of summer too! --BKS
aw! Thats so sweet what you said, And I think you should maybe give pottery a try! its kind of like making clay :)
My friend from school really likes pottery too! With yours and her persuasion, probably I will try it out! It sounds like fun! --BKS
YOU'RE BACK!!!!!!!!!!😁
Who here is working on making some book quizzes?
I am! (For Dork Diaries book 3.)
i already made one
Cool.
You can't do copies so...
Hi every one, right now I am writing a fiction novel called Life and Death. I will probably publish it soon enough, maybe one or two months into the school year...I am writing under the pen name of Misty Starling, so if you see it in a store someday, you'll know that's me!
I'm writing a story about this girl named Daisy who moves to this gigantic old house in California and finds notes hidden in her house. She follows the clues and finds out a big secret about their new town.
That sounds awesome! It's annoying when you write a summary of your book and read it and then you're like I WANT TO READ THIS BOOK, but then you remember you have to write it.
I have actually written 2ish books they are just for little kids but they are pretty fun! I should really revise them though...
I'm writing a book called The Story Code. (No spoilers) It is about a girl named Sophie who ends up in the Book World, and she messes up the Book Code, which has been locked away for years, and now all the stories are messed up. For example Red Riding Hood is Sleeping Beauty until the beast wakes her. Only Sophie can remember the original stories. Now she must journey to the Book Code to fix it. I am writing under the pen name of Peter McRUNN. If you see it in bookstores someday, you'll know it's me!
That is super cool I once wrote a short book for kids but i never figured out how to publish it
I'm writing a story about this girl named Irene Fable. Irene comes from a family where all of her siblings are from fairy tales ex: Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk is studying to be a professional landscaper and Stilt (Rumpelstiltskin) is one of her annoying younger brothers. She has like ten siblings :) lol. She is the only non-magical one in her family. When she goes to school to audition for Jazz Band, she meets a girl with magic powers who brings her home when Flares come to attack Irene. The story then switches to Lanie, who wakes up in a hospital with no memory on how she got there. Lanie has a special power. She can reach into her Object and throw shadows, then fade into the shadows. It's still developing, but it's at forty pages at the moment! --BKS
How do you go about publishing?
Have you ever read A School Story by Andrew Clements? It's a short book that explains the process of publishing. It is about a girl who's mother is a publisher. The girl wants her book published, so she sends it in anonymously and her best friend vouches for her over the phone. It's a great book! I would recommend reading it if you want to publish a book! --BKS
I have read it! I've read pretty much all of Andrew Clement's books! But I read it a few years ago so I don't remember it to well. I might Reread it thanks!
Wow that sounds really cool I will definitely keep an eye out!
That's so cool! I like to write books too, even though I can never finish them! ;P
know how you feel... will often start a book and write a chapter or less [in a total rush] and then be like...hey. wait a second...what am I writing?!
Exactly!
lol
LOL!
same here
If I SEE it, I'll READ it!
SAME. I read literally any book I can get my hands on...I LUV LIBRARIES! --BKS
LOL!
If you get it published, I will totally read it! I write fiction novels too, but mine is only about forty pages long at the moment. I write under the pen name Lucky Pace, so if you see it in a store someday, you'll know that's me! :) --BKS
do not feel bad i am working on a love story that is 5 pages long '-'
:D all stories begin somewhere! --BKS
Yes they do!😜
Cool!
that is so cool grapefruit! i have been working on many story's lets see here 1. the life of a dog 2 love begins with the twist of two tails 3 the return of maria if you do publish it i will probably read it
Hey kruzingwithk9s! Can you tell me about Love Begins with the Twist of Two Tails? It sounds REALLY good! I'm interested even though it isn't published yet! 😁 Please tell me about it! :D --BKS
i'm trying to but i do not think it is comeing on '-'
I went to a writing STEAM (at the time STEM) camp and there we did a cool activity on how to get rid of writer's block. He gave us two minutes to write whatever we were thinking or feeling. Just to let it out! I wrote like eight pages that day of a story I didn't even think of beforehand! It works really well! --BKS
wow thanks! i will use that.
it is a love story about two foxes one has two tails, this is a story about sonic the hedgehog but i might make a copy with ppl i own but any way two foxes one has a name of tails and the other one is alex. Tails tell Alex he loves her pretty early in the book and i do not have ideas at the time but i think it is going to turn out good. so yea.. i'm am such a chatter box XD
That sounds awesome! Did you ever think about the idea how if you twist two tails it could make a heart? I think two twisted tails in a heart shape would make an excellent cover! Foxes are so cute and cuddly, I want one as a pet! --BKS
hmm that sounds cool but like i said, because it is a sonic the hedgehog story, i might have to make a copy with ppl i own if i publish it.
Hi! I am so excited for you! I will be sure to look in all my local bookstores once its published! I also might want to write a book when I am older called: My Distant Sister
What is My Distant Sister about? It sounds like a book written by Margaret Peterson Haddix (a really good author). What's the plot? --BKS
its supposed to be about 2 twin sisters who are separated at birth and as they grow, they find out who is the other girl on that other side till they find out the dark secret their parents were hiding
Hi NatGeo peeps! Soooo I need to make a new "Cleaning My Room" playlist (because, well, I need to clean my room lol :D) and I need suggestions from you guys! Reply to this comment with any songs you like or think I should put in my playlist. I will add them all! :) thanks y'all -cal
Oh! I forgot to put my favorite song: The Night Begins To Shine by B.E.R..
It's SOOOOOOOO good!
Oops I deleted it on accident. I meant to push reply....it was Symphony, Brave, any Greatest Showman song, Crazy Frog, Hamster Dance, You Will Be Found, and the ending credits song of Tangled. Hope this helps! --BKS
All Imagine Dragons songs, Runaways by The Killers, Animal by Neon Trees, and Secrets by One Republic.
To be honest, I actually really like cleaning my room! It makes me satisfied to see everything in its place and when I am able to see the carpet again! :) --BKS
Me too! Well, I like the after-cleaning part, not the cleaning itself.
lol
LOL!
Lol same --BKS
Ever After High (Single).
Solo by Demi Lovato! And yes I also have to clean my room.
Oh, and also Back To You by Selena Gomez...not the other one they're SUPER different.
1. In a world like this (By: the backstreet boys) 2. When I'm gone (from the movie pitch perfect) 3. Lost boy (By: Ruth B) 4: Superficial love (By: Ruth B) These are just some of my favorites!
ok here: any owl city (they are great!) have you seen the book of life? well they got some good songs that i think you should add and maybe "shut up and dance with me" by walk the moon
I like owl city too! They are awesome! :) --BKS
I have only heard the When Can I See You Again? from the ending credits of Wreck-It Ralph (a REALLY good movie!). The song was really good!
OHMYGOSH YESSSSSS I love that song! I jam out every time I hear it! --BKS
At EFY there's this awesome line dance that goes with that song!
I totally have to learn the line dance for it because they do it at EFY and dances-I gotta be prepared for the dances! And there's also a line dance for We Like to Party and Run Away from Love! --BKS
well you need to look up them, they are super good
what's your fave song from them?
Ever After High: Do You Wonder (Single), and One Foot by WALK THE MOON.
Hi everybody!!! I have a question for you all: Which came first? The chicken or the egg? I believe that the chicken came first because there is a material found in an egg that can only be produced by a chicken. 🐓 or 🥚?
The chicken :)
Oh man! I say the egg, because the egg could be an evolution from other birds....but my mind ached just thinking about it! Good riddle! --BKS
@bookstory13: That's an interesting answer!
I try! Usually I don't like to think about things simply because I feel like I might miss something! --BKS
I think it depends on which chicken, the chicken that played the egg or the chicken in the egg.
It's just logic. (I think.)
Oops! layed the egg. Not played.
