Because of "Mr Terupt" by Rob Buyea is an amazing book. It takes places at the beginning of fifth grade in Snow Hill School. The book switches between the points of view Jessica, Alexia, Peter, Luke, Danielle, Anna, and Jeffrey. Jessica is a smart new girl who is having a hard time fitting in. Alexia is a bully who can't decide between being mean or nice. Peter is the class clown and troublemaker. Luke is an academic sort of person. Danielle is teased and doesn't stand up for herself. Anna is an outcast because of her family situation, and Jeffrey despises school. Then they get a brand new teacher named Mr. Terupt who makes school fun. He helps the students get along and become friends. After a horrible tragedy happens, the students learn that even when Mr. Terupt is not there, he still brings them together.I heard Rob Buyea speak about his book at a library. A lot of the things that happen in the book happened in Rob Buyea's classroom, when he taught fourth or fifth grade. I was surprised at how energetic and dramatic Rob Buyea was while he was speaking. It was really interesting to learn how Because of Mr. Terupt was written. Something I really liked about this book was the dollar word project that the students in Mr. Terupt's class did. A is one cent, B is two cents, C is three cents, and so on. The students had to write words whose letters added up to 100 cents, or $1.00. Mr. Terupt was only called Mr. Terupt because Terupt is a dollar word. Examples of dollar words are flurry, grumpy, savory, and awfully. I thought this was a great read. It was moving and showed how people's attitudes towards life can change for the better. I highly suggest it.

Lifeboat 12 is a book about Ken and his dad, sister, and step mom. He's going to Canada to get out of world war ll. Three days into the trip he and 19 boys and girls get torpedoed. He runs to his lifeboat but forgot his coat so he runs back to his bunk and grabs his coat but his lifeboat left without him so he joins lifeboat 12. They had two weeks until they got to Ireland. They saw a plane and a boat but one plane saw them and saved them. Then when they got back to land no one in his family was there to bring him home so one of the people in lifeboat 12 brought him to a gas station and his dad was there to bring him home.

The best family ever tells how a family goes through some tough things. Ashley has been getting into trouble for not paying attention in class her teacher tells her she wants to talk to her after school. her teacher said Ashley Do you want to help decorate for the Valentine's day party? Of course she said yes. She could not wait to tell her family. Before she new it it was the day of the party. she told her sister Kari to her up and find something to where Then after school her mom had a surprise for all of the older girls and it was a tea party. then when everyone was home there dad said for spring brake they are going to a beach the day be fore they were going to leave there dad said that they where moving to a town called Bloomington everyone was sad but they did not have a choice when they got to the beach Kari and Brooke found two new friends they were sad when they had to go but when they were home Ashley saw a sale sine in front of there house and before they all new it moving day was there.

This is a chapter book by Lizzie Hearts and Duchess Swan. They go to a school called Ever After High,which is a school for royals and villains. Duchess and Lizzie are roommates even if they are not alike, they bond with not fitting in with the royals.While Lizzie and the other royals have a good destiny's. Lizzie does not. Soon Duchess will have to either choose between friends and destiny. When she gets into general villainy class she has to do evil. Will she sabotage her only friend ? Let's find out.

"Kickoff" by Tiki and Ronde Barber tells the childhood of two NFl brothers, Tiki and Ronde Barber. They are kids going into middle school. They were smart kids until middle school because of the new change.They play football on the streets everyday after school.The towns council wants to build a factory but it will pollute the air. Their mom stands up against the town's council. The brothers sign up for football and have tryouts. They find out what position and string they play. They go and practice with the teams best quarterback. They sit on the bench most of the games. The teams 1st string running back got injured and Tiki becomes the new back up. Tiki got mad at the coach and the coach puts him in and he bluffs it up. At the last game they both play. Tiki and Ronde Barber were good football players who learned sometimes if you be patient you will get your chance. They both inspired me and if you read this book hopefully you will be inspired too.

The pups are covered with all sorts of things.I felt really grossed out.Her friends, Brandon and Max help her clean the mess. She is lucky because she has good friends. Nikki brings the pups to school. She hid them in the principals office.I LOVE THIS BOOK! I felt scared when she hid them in the principals office.I liked the part where Max and Brandon helped her.I recommend it for people writing in the diarys. This is a very cute and very hard to take your eyes off the book!! WOW! WOW!

There they saw tents they went down by the tents and meet a nurse named Clara Barton. She asked Annie and Jake to help the wounded solders. Jake and Annie were brave an saved many solders life.
