Birdie's Big-Girl Hair (Birdie Series)

Birdie's Big-Girl Hair (Birdie Series)

undefined

This book is about Birdie, a girl who is a kid. One morning, Birdie wakes up and hugs her dog Monster. She brushes her teeth and her hair, but her hair wasn't looking good. When she came down for breakfast her mom said, "Good morning, Birdie. I think it's time for a hair cut." So, Birdie looked at lots of books to find a hairstyle picture. She finally chose a hairdo that looked like her mommy. I like this book because it's about haircuts.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (A Golden melody book)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (A Golden melody book)

By Walt Disney Productions

I chose to read this book because I watched the movie and was in a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves performance. The book was a little bit different than the movie and the performance. I love this book. I think this is good for ages 4 to age 8.

Chomp

Chomp

By Carl Hiaasen

"Chomp" by Carl Hiaasen is a very entertaining story about a boy named Wahoo Cray. He and his father are animal wranglers, and they tame wild animals, such as alligators, in their backyard. A popular reality TV show called 'Expedition Survival!' invites Wahoo and his father to help on set because they using their animals. Wahoo embarks on a journey that involves his friend Tuna, her father (a drunkard and a gunman), and the famous Derek Badger, who is the star of the show. Wahoo and the 'crew' face dilemmas during filming; for example, Derek Badger goes missing, and Tuna's father is after his daughter who runs away from him. Read this book to find out how these problems are solved!

Missing May

Missing May

By Cynthia Rylant

Ever since Summer's Aunt May died, her Uncle Ob has fallen into a state of sadness and while they wait for a sign from Aunt May, Summer realizes that they must continue without her. I would recommend it for ages 9+ This book wasn't bad, some parts were super interesting but some sorta just dragged. Overall, pretty good, but could be more exciting.

I, Houdini

I, Houdini

By Lynne Reid Banks

What would you think of a hamster named Houdini? Named after the greatest escape artist of all time, he cannot be contained in any cage. Following his many adventures, Houdini proves that he can live up to his name. I would recommend this for ages 9+ I think I was a bit rather late to read this because it seemed too simple. It was pretty good, though it could have a better pace. But overall, I enjoyed this book,

Stinky Cheese Man from The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Fairy Tales Book 10 Inch Stuffed Animal & Hardcover Book

Stinky Cheese Man from The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Fairy Tales Book 10 Inch Stuffed Animal & Hardcover Book

By Jon Scieszka & Lane Smith

This book was very fun, and I really liked it. It was so funny that I want to read it again. The Stinky Cheese Man is the last story of the book. The Stinky Cheese Man is like The Gingerbread Man, but different. The Princess and Bowling Bowl reminded me of The Princess and the Pea. I would recommend this book to other kids who are five and up.

Sylvester And The Magic Pebble

Sylvester And The Magic Pebble

By William Steig

I wish I could change the part when Sylvester was missing because it was sad. I wish Sylvester would have wished that the lion didn't see him instead of wishing to be a rock. Then, he could have wished for a birthday party instead of his parents being sad and looking for him. What I did like is that the magic pebble gave Sylvester whatever he wanted because it was interesting. 😌 😳

Animals Should Definitely Not Wear Clothing (1988) (Korea Edition)

Animals Should Definitely Not Wear Clothing (1988) (Korea Edition)

By Judi Barrett

I loved the book. It was really silly when the mouse got lost in the clothes. The sheep was too hot wearing it. The only thing I would change is the length. I wish I could have added more animals. I recommend this book to other kids.

Arthur's Birthday (Arthur Adventure Series)

Arthur's Birthday (Arthur Adventure Series)

By Marc Brown

This is a fun book because it is about birthdays. Arthur and Muffy have a problem - they have the same birthday. At the end they have a fun birthday - it was both of their birthdays together. I love this book so much that I could read it 15 times every day. I like to read this book before I go to bed.

Fergus And Zeke

Fergus And Zeke

By Kate Messner

Overall, I enjoyed this book. My favorite part was when Fergus found a friendly mouse named Zeke. Zeke showed Fergus around the museum. After that, they were friends. They liked each other so much that they were bus buddies on the bus on the way to the school from the museum. I like books about friendship. There were a lot of pictures, and I especially like the pictures showing the museum.
