House of Secrets: Clash of the Worlds (House of Secrets Series Book 3)
By Chris Columbus, Ned Vizzini, Chris Rylander
In this book (you can probably tell) the to worlds (the book world and the normal world) collide. And that is because when the wind witch (dahelia) got rid of the storm king (her father) the barrier between the to worlds failed. Brendan Eleanor and Cordelia had to bring the Storm kind back to life so he could tell them how to fix the barrier. He tells them to get the three world keepers from three different books in the book world. Before they set off on there journey they went to the book world and found a town. They made a few friends in the book before setting off away from the town. Cordelia went to the bottom of the sea to get one of the world keepers and Brenden went to another town where he had to find another world keepers (with the help of and alien) and Eleanor was on planet 5X (a very unsafe place) to find the final world keeper. The world keeper that's always moving. But the world keeper is somewhere you would not at all expect it to be but I'm not going to spoil that for any of you! I have not finished the book yet so I can't say much more about it except Eleanor gets tricked and possibly I don't know yet (remember I have not read all of it) Stays with the evil! Or leaves it. I'm going to figure that out soon. . . If you read this I hope it encourages you to read this book or book series just maybe you should start from the first book. Love you homies! ;>
Duel at Araluen (Ranger's Apprentice: The Royal Ranger)
By John Flanagan
Noah Kim
This book is very over the top. John Flanagan has done it again with the third book in the Royal Ranger series. It's thriller and suspense is top-notch and I loved it.
Monster High
By Lisi Harrison
From Lisi Harrison's amazing book genres comes Monster High Book 1 of 4 in the Monster High Series. This book comes with a fresh twist on High School, romance and the horrors of trying to fit in. The monster community has retained a low profile at the local high school. "I always want to encourage my students to be yourself, be unique, be a monster." Headless Headmistress Bloodgood. When two new ghouls enroll the town just can't be the same! Invented just fifteen days ago, Frankie Stein is psyched to trade her father's formaldehyde-smelling basement lab for parties and prom, but with the Student Body totally freaked out with the rumors of monsters stalking the hallways, Frankie learns that Monster High can be coarse for a ghoul freak like her. She believes she finds friendship in the fellow new student Melody Carver. But can a normie like Melody be trusted with Frankie's jaw-dropping secret? I rate Monster High Book 1 of 4 in the Monster High Series 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For it's ghoulicious plot twists, friendship, amazing main message and secretive fun! I couldn't put it down till' the end! I recommend this book for children under 10. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5 Stars Great job Lisi Harrison! You're at it again with another great book!

By Denis Markell
Wow, what a great book this was! When I had first received this book, I wasn't sure if I wanted to read it or not, until I gave this a chance. The main character of the story, Ted, gets to search through his uncle's apartment after he dies and gets to pick out what he keeps and what he doesn't. Ted has always loved video games, and has played all the escape the room games, but when he discovers one that looks like his uncle's apartment, he plays it, both in real life and the game. Everyone should give this book a chance, because it is really enticing to read. I'm so glad that I gave it a chance!
Unstoppable
By Tim Green
AMAZING!!! It is about this foster boy that lives with a family that doesn't treat him right. He has to do farm work, house work and doesn't get to go to school. He has always had a passion for football though. but his foster dad doesn't let him play it or watch it. One day his foster dad whips him on the buckle side of a belt. Then the boy takes a pitch fork and stabs it into the dad's leg. People found out about this and he goes to kid jail for two weeks. Then he goes to a different family that takes care of him and love him and his new foster dad is a football coach. At his new school it's hard for him but he meets a girl that is really nice, he starts to make new friends, and he is kind of good at football. But just when things seem to get better he ends up with cancer. He loses his hair and one of his legs. At first he thought his life was ruined. But then he sees that things still can be good. This book is about strength, love, friendship, and passion. I really would recomend this book to anyone.
The Fairy-Tale Matchmaker
By E. D. Baker
I read this book because I've read a LOT of books by E.D. Baker, and I have never once been disappointed. It was very enthralling, and I had a hard time putting it down. A good story about a fairy who wants to do something to help other fairies, besides collecting human children's teeth.
Airborn 10th Anniversary Edition
By Kenneth Oppel
I had to read this book for school, and it started out a little boring, so I thought I wasn't going to like it very much. It still is not one of my favorite books, but the plot is really nice. Matt, the main character, lives on the airship where he works, which is called the Aurora. Matt feels most comfortable when he is in the air, and he never wants to leave, but we all know that there has to be something that goes wrong! He has a dream of flying the Aurora one day, but when Kate comes into the picture she becomes a distraction to Matt and his responsibilities. She shows him a diary that connects to an event in Matt's past that has been haunting his dreams for 2 years. Many obstacles come in the way of Matt's dream, as well as Kate's dream that conflicts strongly with Matt's. Through pirates, storms, snakes, cloud cats, airships, bones, hydrium, mangoes, and first kisses, Matt and Kate are there for each other through the newest discovery of their time. This book turned out to be very exciting if you can get through the first couple chapters. The author writes very descriptively and paints wonderful pictures in your mind, and I would recommend this to middle school readers who like realistic fiction with a little twist of fantasy. Kenneth Oppel was also very clever when he picked the title for his book, can you find what the double meaning is?
