Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret

Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret

By Trudi Trueit

WOW!!! That was my only reaction after reading this book! Just WOW! This book totally surprised me. Cruz Coronado lives in Hawaii and loves to surf. At least, he LIVED in Hawaii. The very exclusive Explorer Academy had accepted his application to attend... in WASHINGTON, D.C.! His deceased mother had gone when she was his age, and Cruz feels she would be proud of him going. At the Academy, they train kids and teens about how to explore. Pretty cool, right? Cruz definitely thinks so! There's augmented reality rooms to simulate what life will be like when they set sail to take an ACTUAL EXPLORATION! YEAH! They get to actually go out into the world and explore using the skills they learned at the Explorer Academy! Sounds like my kind of school!! But something sinister seems to be going on amidst all of the hubbub. Nebula (a medicine company) wants to stop the explorers from finding a special substance from jellyfish that can cure every single disease in the world, which would eventually put Nebula out of service (because no one is getting sick and buying their medicine)! LIKE, WHO WOULD DO THAT?!? Nebula is the DEFINITION of evil! And a strange man keeps popping up in Cruz's life... more like following him! Why is all of this happening to Cruz? Find out in Explorer Academy: The Nebula Secret. This book is spectacular! I loved it because it had fun codes, and awesome story and writing style, and showed how cool exploring is! I would absolutely LOVE to attend Explorer Academy! This book was overall FABULOUS! I recommend this book to anyone, at any age!

The Boxcar Children (The Boxcar Children Mysteries)

The Boxcar Children (The Boxcar Children Mysteries)

By Gertrude Chandler Warner

I absolutely love this book !! I have been re-reading this book for at least 6 times as its so good. I really enjoyed the setting and writing style of this book. The main characters include Violet,Benny,Jesse and Henry. These characters are very kind, creative and resourceful.Their journey includes a lot of fun, mystery and cozy vibes.I like it how they reuse alot of things and turn it into something useful yet extraordinary. We can learn alot from these characters, especially how to enjoy each and every moment in our life no matter how small they are. I recommend this book to each one you. Oopsies!! I forgot to mention that this is a book series which consists around 200 books. This book review is on the book in this series and there is a lot ahead readers! I have just read 6 books in this series which is nothing comparing to what is there ahead to read. Anyways,I am not going too deep into this book as I think its fun reading and exploring things on your own. When we go in this journey with them ,we feel that we too are one of them.I cannot wait to continue this reading journey with Henry,Jesse,Violet and Benny.

Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (The Underland Chronicles, Book 2)

Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (The Underland Chronicles, Book 2)

By Suzanne Collins

If you didn't know before reading this book, it's the second book in the Underland Chronicles. Read the first book first. I may accidently spoil something about the first in the review, but I doubt it. Still, no one likes a spoiler. Only really weird people. (A.k.a.: some of my closest friends, but whatever.) After returning from the Underland the first time, Gregor swore never to return. But now he has no choice. The giant cockroaches that inhabit the Underland have kidnapped his sister, who they call their "princess". At first Gregor's angry about this, but then he found out their reason. It was foretold in a prophesy that if the rats killed Boots, they would rule the Underland. And if it meant they would have power over the Regalians. . . the rats would stop at nothing until she was dead.

Laugh Out Loud

By James Patterson, Chris Grabenstein

James Patterson tells a unique story about how he started his own book company. He and his friends devise crazy plans to make his dream come true. At one point, in James' imagination, he meets fictional aliens; (Chapter 3.) That part was hilarious! James Patterson sure spins a fun tale!

Jacky Ha-Ha

Jacky Ha-Ha

By James Patterson, Chris Grabenstein

Does the name "Jacky Ha-Ha" ring a bell? It might if you've read Mr. Patterson's bestselling hit series, I Funny. But if you haven't, don't despair! This book was new, original, and I loved it all the more because it reminded me of Jamie Grimm (from the I Funny series) yet had a completely unique and different character, Jacky! What I absolutely loved about this book is the timeline it's set in; the 1990's. Sadly, nowadays you don't really get books that are set in the past unless they're thick history books that have been collecting dust for the last few decades; which is why I really enjoyed this book. Not set so far back in the past that I find myself completely unable to relate to Jacky, but set nicely a decade or two ago so that I can enjoy learning what her life was like. Overall, really entertaining, (plus I LOVE her jokes, her fiery spirit, and her acrobatic abilities *wink*), heartwarming, and it definitely makes me dying to read the next book if this turns out to be a series!

By Suzanne Collins

These books are sooooo good! At first I didn't even want to read them, but my brother told me to, and I still owe him to this day. I love the characters (especially Ripred....lol) and the story line, and.... well, all of it! Suzanne Collins (she also wrote the Hunger Games..... read that too!) put together an amazing story. I totally recommend these books to anyone who seeks a little adventure and excitement in their reading!

There was once a little girl. Her name was Ramona. She was just starting Kindergarten. In Kindergarten, Ramona had so much fun. Her teacher, Ms. Binney was so kind and understanding. One day her teacher scolded her. Then she sadly gone home. Read the book to find out what happens next. I liked this book because it was fun to read and it had Ramona being very funny.
