The Chronicles Of Narnia (7 Book Series)

The Chronicles Of Narnia (7 Book Series)

By C.S. Lewis

Yesterday I read Silverbell. It talks about a girl named Jill Pole to rescue a long lost prince. The prince’s father is sad because there’s no prince to become king after him. The girl travels through an underground world called The Land Of Bism where gnomes roam, eating diamonds.Gnomes are critters like humans, but have a hundred toes. My favorite part is when she gets to the house of the ManChomping Giants, giants who eat men for dinner. First, some lazy men were sleeping nearby. Jill picks the men up and tosses them into the ManChomping Giants’ house. The giants’ house was a big stone fortress, but it had windows on the floor. That part was the funny bit. Then, the girl goes to the Land Of The White Witch, and finds the prince by breaking the witch’s spell. They broke the spell by breaking a silver bell. Finally, they must battle the witch. That part was the scary bit. The moral of the story is to keep trying, even when things look hopeless. I like the story because they had a grand party at the end. If you want to see if they beat the witch, read the story!!!

Prisoner B-3087

Prisoner B-3087

By Alan Gratz, Ruth Gruener, Jack Gruener

This book Prisoner B-3087 is an amazing book with full of determination! This book is based on a true story! This book can let you realised that if you never give up then even you encounter impossibles situations eventually you will overcome it. From this story I learned about life lesson, your life might be miserable and had no hope but if you never give up and has a strong mind at the end you will succeed. This book really touched my heart, this book is basically about a boy named Yanke, he is a Jewish, at that time the Nazis have control most of Europe . Everything he have and everyone he love is taken away from him. Yanke himself has became a prisoner and he has a number (B-3087) tattooed on his wrist. Yanke trying to get his family out of the concentration camp and also get him self out of the living hell, because in the concentration camp he is destiny to face to death by anytime. He is trying to survive thought the concentration camp. I personally think this book brings me and teaches me and also help me understand same important lessons in my personal life, I am struggling on my grade, because I didn't have the mind of determination, I am kind of giving up, but from this book I've seen this whole thing differently and make my mind to do the impossible to improve myself. I would say this story have clearly stated the struggles of the people to survive in the concentration camp, I can feel like I am in the concentration camp and have the a big problem to be resolved.I need the determination and strength to overcome my problems instead of escaping from them. The book is writhed in a very special way with advance word choice, the content of the book, the story structure of the whole story and with the simple sentences to bring and shows out the whole idea of this book. I recommend this book for 6th to 8th graders!

Maximum Ride, the Manga, Vol. 2

By James Patterson

I loved how they did the other bird girl in this one. And all of the other mutations! I still find it difficult to believe that The Institute of Higher Living was located in a sewer. Gross, but i think i would still go there.

After it got rescheduled the girls got there around 7am and stayed til 3 pm (they skipped school) after they realized it got cancelled they decided not to go to the one in june. After the spring fair they all start 7th grade, and that where i leave you on a cliffhanger until you read it. If you struggle with anxiety or stress ins school or anything, this book is a way to just get into a deep thought about different characters and how they feel. Thats why i give it a 5 out of 5.
