I had not read much about this terrible event until I read this account. I loved the way the author wrote this story about two boys who were best friends who were caught in this earthquake. The author uses many similes and language that completely gives the reader such a sense that you are really there. It is well written and the chapters are short so it is an easy read.

This book is Astounding! It is so interesting. It's about a girl who is being followed by a woman that claims she is her real mother and the girl was adopted. Is she lying? This book is tricky so read carefully! Okay- Bye.

I loved this book when i was younger and i still love it till this day because it is really fun , easy to read , and has secret recipes inside it for many different kinds of pastries . I hope you love it as much as i do .

This book tells the story of a mouse, a rat, a girl that wants nothing more than to be a rpincess, and a princess. The mouse's name is Despereaux and when he was born his eyes were open. Open. He wasn't scared when he was born either. A brave mouse is very rare. A princess's mother dies and her father made a law that there was no soup and no rats. He was in that much pain. A worker girl named Megory Soe (named after the pig) was given away after her father wanted nothing to do with her. She became a slave at a very young age. A rat came from a boat onto the land of Dor (the town that everyone in this book lives in, just saying) and heard that Dor was famous for its soup (but this was before the king made that law of no soup or rats), so he decided that he should get a taste of the soup. he lost track of time and the boat left without him. When all four of these stories add up tigether and create one, you'd be suprised. This is a very challenging and amazing book and I know that you'll enjoy it!

okay, needs a lot hero needs more animation, more depth! more story lines than just one! something else! poorly writen!

After reading My Life in Dog Years, I really want to read more Gary Paulsen books. He's my writing crush this year!

In Vonallburg’s book two bad ant’s two greedy ant’s stay with the crystal’s my opinion is is a good awesome book they go through a series of frightening adventure’s a cave, a river ,and many other thrilling adventure,s! This all happened because they were greedy! Also selfish. Remember it is a awesome Book!
