Warning! This review contains spoilers. The Hardscrabbles live with their dad in a small town, where everyone avoids them besides annoying old lady. Otto is 13, and he doesn't talk; instead he uses strange hand motions. Max is 10 and is constantly sitting on the roof. Lucia is either 12 or 11 (they don't say her age) and she's constantly flaring her nostrils; it's not exactly weird, but it is annoying. When their dad goes on a business trip, they are sent to stay with their aunt, who lives in London. But it turns out that their aunt is on vacation, so they do what any sensible children would do: aimlessly journey through the streets of London. What I thought of the book: My favorite character was by-far Otto. Partly because Lucia was extremely pride full, which was annoying. And Max thought he knew everything , which was also annoying. The identity of the narrator was supposed to be a secret, but it was Lucia. I wish they hadn't made it so obvious. I kind of wish that Otto would have been the narrator because he was the weirdest. I'm glad that the author wrote it as though he actually was talking because if she hadn't, that would have been very confusing. Although the description says it's dark, it really isn't that dark. I think that there were a few curse words, though. Overall it was a very good book.

This book is about a boy that takes care of a raven and he has many different adventures

My book is took place in Alaska and it is about a kid who is 15 years old. The begging is about him hunting and he runs into a poler Bear/ grizzly and it rips his baged full of meat off. Also the book is called never say die witch is made by will Hobbs he also wrote down the river. The books setting takes place in mountians and lakes. The protagonist is the main character and the antaginist is his brother. One magor conflict is the 15 year old thinks he needs his gun and the brother is a no shoot kind of person. Another is whether the main should stay or go. The turning point of the book is when they land and need to make camp to go down river and the main wants to make up for the other incident. I liked this book because it was adventurey and dident have the most complex plot ever. Also he does not like the trip at first but gets to liking the expirents.

Ella's mother is sick and has comma and she has to live with her step dad. She hates her step dad and wants her real dad back to take care of her. She doesn't even goes to school even when her step dad tells her to. One day, she goes to school and does a project about and for the next few days she goes to school and sees her mum every day. She is fascinated about whales and a whole book about it. Will Ella's love for whales bring her mum back?

I decided to read this book with my class because it tied in nicely with a Social Studies unit about the United States following the Civil War. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and think my students will too.

I really loved this book! I also think it would make a great series. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in spies or fiction criminals. It was full of surprises! I really enjoyed the surprising ending!

The Cavendish home for boys and girls is a truly creepy and sinister book. But that's not a bad thing. This book is great for reading when you're looking for something to really give you a scare! The books protagonist, Victoria, is quite different to all your other book heroines. She won't do with nonsense and is always striving for success. So when she is faced with the most ridiculous situations, she finds them hard to believe. Even so, she won't give up trying to save her best friend Lawrence. Throughout the book, you feel Victoria developing not just as a character, but a real person. The adventure she goes on changes her for the better. This book is popular not only with the middle grade audience, but with adults too! To sum this all up, it's a brilliant book that needs to be read with an English accent.

Couldn't read this one either, since they didn't have it here in Korea when I bought the other books of Julia DeVillers and Jennifer Roy containing the information of Emma and Payton

I like this book because when his big brother tells him to follow the rules .When he goes on the bus the 2nd & 3rd row was filled and he saw kids all sizes.
