This book seemed to be a childish and shallow book when I first saw the cover. As I read, I realized I was wrong. Honestly, the words this book used aren’t hard at all. They can be understood easily. However, deeper behind the words, there’re a lot more meanings beyond. The four kids in the Black Belt Club have distinct personalities. Max wasn’t confident about himself at the very beginning, but as he fought against their enemies with the three other karate students, he found himself and his bravery. The four karate students’ hearts also came together at the end and, they successfully defeated their enemies.This motivated me to keep up what I believe and my perseverance to fight until the end. Even though this story has a typical good versus evil theme, it taught us the importance of keeping the balance of everything. In my personal opinion as an example, a life without goals is boring, aimless, and wasted, but a life full of expectations will be too stressed and tired. This story can be inspirational to people that are feeling low, helpless, and uncertain about themselves. You might not succeed if you try hard, but you will never know you can if you never give it a shot, try hard, do your best, and give up your best effort and spirit.
