This was a great book that shared the beauty of being your own person and taking positive risks. Wesley created his on food crop, civilization, and language. At the end of the story his tormentors (bullies) became his friends.

What made the Europeans so advanced that they could conquer much of the world? Superior culture? Awesome people? Nope, only the luck of living where they did- geography!

i read it at school but i like patricia polacco she made the book i do not like the story it is too sad for me.

I loved this book but I suggest not to read it unless you read the books that were before this one.
