I found this book on a trip to Michigan in a cozy little bookstore, and this ended out to be a hysterically wonderful surprise! I still have my copy, and it's taught me much importance about staying true to myself. Popular isn't a theme, it's a category, but,... not unless you're happy with being an outsider.

This is an amazing book! Already read through the series 5 times. Highly recommended. If you like fighting books and books about training and stuff this is the book for you.

Sugar (the main character in this book) has never had an easy life. She was born in the back of a Chevy and had a dad who was never around. He was always telling Sugar's mom Reba that he'd be there for her, but he never was. Sugar knew they had never been rich, but never thought that what was happening right now was possible. She was getting kicked out of her home. Her dad ( Mr. Leeland) had failed to find the money to pay the rent on their house. Sugar was going to have to move from Missouri to Chicago. She had to leave her school and all her friends. She was especially going to miss her English teacher, Mr. B. She was constantly writing poems about her life that Mr. B loved. He was SO encouraging and Sugar promised to keep e-mailing him her poems. Chicago was not working out so great. Reba and Sugar were on the streets until someone found Reba and put her into a hospital for the insane. She was suffering severe depression. Sugar was forced to live with a foster family and she liked it but couldn't stop thinking about Reba. She couldn't help wondering, would they ever get back on their feet without Mr. Leeland?

Stormbreaker is a scientific and adventure novel by Anthony Horowitz and is the most thrilling book I've read this semester. The character, Alex Rider, is a normal teen who lives with his uncle. But after his uncle's death, he founds out that his uncle is a secret agent and soon carries on his mission. Along the way, he faces different challenges and has to figure out how to save the world before the Stormbreaker computers "invade" Earth. I really like Alex because he is really brave, strong, intelligent, and is always up for a new challenge. One of my favorite scenes is when he is almost killed by Baron, but one of the workers help him escape. I was super nervous when I was reading that chapter and it was really a cliff-hanger that I didn't expect. This book is perfect for teens that like sci-fi but more realistic than fantasies, it's an amazing book!

Winnie is fourteen now and moving on to high school.Not only is she facing problems with Bo but Sandra is also leaving to college pretty soon.They have one moment and its fantastic.Though they get caught because Ty went on a field trip and stole a penguin so they had to take it back but run into a security guard.While Bo only gives Winnie a Starbucks card for her birthday Winnie hates him.For summer Winnie goes to camp but Bo was supposed tto go somewhere far away but doesn't end up going.He wants Winnie tom come back but she can't.While a big surprise for her comes to camp she is truly excited because that was what she wished for on her birthday.Cinnamon and Dinah are great friends.Dinah gets suspended because of Mary who stuffed makeup in her locker which she robbed.Cinnamon breaks up with her boyfriend which was Bo's best friend so if they know Bo's there Cinnamon's ex-boyfriend is going to be there too.Is it too much for Winnie to handle or can she handle it?

sounds like a good book already so ill try to read it

When I first saw this book, I thought it was your average, run of the mill, prehistoric fiction book. But when I finished it, I knew that this was a book that I would reread over and over again! In this book, Caveboy Dave, dreams to be a big time engineer. But when he and his friends are thrown into the wild, expected to kill 6 deadly beasts, he is hesitant to go. Will he come back victorious? Or will he suffer dreaded defeat? You'll have to read to find out! I would definitely recommend this book to a friend who loves engineering, or one who just loves a good laugh. This was a book I loved, and I'm sure you'll love it too!

Junie B. can't wait for Valentine's Day! Oh, all the cards and candy! Sweet! On Valentine's Day she get's lot's of yummy treats and wonderful cards, but there was one card that stood out the most. It was a mushy, gushy Valentine card form her secret admirer! Who could it be? Of course it wouldn't be that meanie Jim, right? This is a fantastic book and I definitely recommend it for first and second graders who love a good book!
