I learned a lot about Greece from this book

I loved this book!It was mysterious yet historical at the same time.Who is the man called Saburo,the mysterious bandit who robs the rich and gives to the poor?And what is the connection with Yoshida, the harsh and short tempered master of feudal japan's most famous puppet theater?Yung Jiro, an apprentice to Yoshida,is determined to find out, even if it means leaving his parents in the process.Even to risk his own young life.Nevertheless,Jiro devotes himself to learning the art of puppetry.Kinshi, the puppet master's son, tutors him.Kinshioften gets punished by his father but I really liked him as the character he was.When his sheltered life at the theater becomes a horror and nightmare of angry mobs and rioting starving peasants. Jiro knows that this is beyond his control and power.Jiro then helps Kinshi find his own and rightful parents, he falls into danger discovering dangerous, and dark secrets that could take power away.Katherine Patterson is a great author and I love all of her books.We had to read this for English class and i thought it would be pretty boring since I love mysteries like nancy drew and the hardy boys.But I think any middle schooler or even elementary kid should read this book.

Despite being unfortunately less well-known, Savage Sam packs a huge wallop of adventure—a bigger wallop than Old Yeller did. I definitely loved Savage Sam better than Old Yeller. "Why? What's so interesting?" Savage Sam, Old Yeller and Blue's pup, quickly goes from clumsy to a top-notch hound dog and becomes six year old Little Arliss' best friend, helping create mischief wherever they go. Travis, meanwhile, is stuck laboring in the field with his Pa. Until Old Man Searcy gallops full-speed to the Coates family's home. He tells them a tale that everyone dismisses as his usual big talk: INDIANS ARE BACK AND STEALING HORSES! But Travis and Lisbeth are sent to retrieve Little Arliss, despite everyone's skepticism. Too late, they realize there was a whole lot of truth in Old Man Searcy's words. They are taken captive by Apache Indians, and suffer through terrible pain, hunger and thirst, barely clinging to the hope that someone might rescue them. Savage Sam was a clear, easy, and well-paced read. Fred Gipson didn't waste any time scrutinizing every sentence he wrote or being at loss for words. Every line feels straight and raw from the heart. I recommend to ages 12+ for some of the brutality.

WOW!!!!!i never knew Eleanor would have turned to be the first lady of the white house and be the the presidents wife cause she was born red and wrinkly .

This book was decent, but it wasn't very hooking

I love this book so much because it teaches me to learn for other peoples mistakes not fall in the same mistake.

I haven't read this book but I read almost the whole series sooo. This series tells us about so many different fairies and their powers. I will do a review on every one I read.

I thought this book shows just how cruel reality can be. Although I dislike the ending VERY much, I thought it was an OK book. I don't really recommend it unless you need confidence about your appearence. Neal Shusterman explains how you don't have to be beautiful, you are fine just the way you are. For if you search to be different, you will come to a disastrous, cruel solution.

This is a great book that features three main characters Ellie, Magda and Nadine. These three are best friends but they have many ups and downs. Magda is super sassy and many boys chase after her, while Nadine is goth and shy. Ellie doesn't really like her stepmother and tries to get thinner by forcing herself to vomit and trying to be anorexic. She sadly fails and actually sees what a real anorexic girl is like when she swims in order to keep fit. She then believes that being anorexic and superskinny is bad for her and sticks to a better diet and exercises more. This book is very interesting and I really enjoyed it. It tells what a real girls life is like and how it is led and pressured.
