I know what you're thinking when you look at the cover and title. You're thinking, "Unicorns? You mean the pink creatures with fluffy purple manes that eat cotton candy and dance on rainbows?" After all, that's what I was thinking. Until I read the book. Mrs. Russell, the author, did a perfect job of weaving ancient myths into present-day reality. We begin our story with Twig, a skinny 12 year old who is being shipped off to a pony ranch by Keely, her stepmother, for some mysterious crimes that are yet to be explained. On arriving at Lonehorn Island, she begins to sense a strange presence, and see dark shadows weaving through the trees. Eventually, Twig will face an epic battle against the beasts of Lonehorn Island - but will she survive to long enough to win it? All in all, amazing writing. Mrs. Russell took on the challenging aspect of molding the reputation of the unicorn into something undefiable. You won't think about unicorns the same way ever again.

Great read about a young man facing hard decisions and trying to keep his promises. You care about what happens to him, and want him to make the right choice.

I love the How to Train your Dragon series. How to be a Pirate, the second book tells about Hiccup, the main character, Fishlegs, Hiccup's best friend, Toothless, which is Hiccup's dragon, and the rest of the Hooligan tribe. It all starts when Gobber the Belch hosts the Swordfighting-at-sea lesson in the middle of the ocean. Hiccup has to fight Dogsbreath one of the strongest Hooligans. To be safe, they each have a wooden case on their sword. But when naughty little Toothless bites Dogsbreath in the bottom Dogsbreath takes his off and accidentally puts a whole in the ship and the ship starts to sink. Luckily, they find a coffin to float on. The coffin says DO NOT OPEN! But, the Hooligans open it and eventually Hiccup, Fishlegs, Toothless, and Alvin-the-poor-but-honest-farmer end up sinking with the ship trapping them under water. Will they all survive? Hiccup also has an odd feeling about Alvin. Is he honest or is it all a big lie? To find this out read How to be a Pirate by Cressida Cowell.

I love this book so much! A friend and I (Kevin) read the series it was reallly, reallly good! I think i might have only gotten to volume 7 'cause then i couldn't find the other books past it. :/ I still am in the progress of finishing the show...I'm only on episode 21 i think....But i can't wait to read and watch more

i never saw the movie will tonight.

I liked the book because I thought that it was interesting on how Jennie Hodgers was “Albert Cashier” in the civil war. I learned a lot about the Battle of Vicksburg. My favorite part of the book was when her and Tom were in Ireland because it shows how fast her life changed. I would recommend this book to people who like fiction and also learning about things at the same time.

I like this book because a lot of the poems have very funny parts and some sad parts but it was still a good book.

You should like totally read Juniper Berry. It's all about knowing who you are and who you trust. Juniper's mother, father and only friend didn't know, and they lost their souls. Freaky, but excellent.
