This book was written by Amanda Noll and illustrated by Howard McWilliams and it is about a boy that was sleep and he got out of his bed because he wanted a midnight snack so he got out of bed then he herd a noise coming from under his bed he thought it was his stomach but no it was a bunch of monster. I recommend this book to people who are into scary movies or reading scary books because this book well it didn't scare me until I read it and It was so scary I check under my bed every singel night. I gave this book a 3 star rating because I think that the makers of the book could of made it a little more scary but other wise the book was so so so so Good.

I love this book it brings back great memories. I love this book's art style and the story line. There are also pictures that make me laugh and this is a great kids book. This book is amazing and I love how it is so creative and fun. I love this book very much.

Lyric Walker, a girl who lives in Coney Island and her life changes in one night when she witnessed the arrival of The Alpha or First Men. (They are basically normal people only they live underwater, some have scales, tails, sharp teeth, and other traits) Several Alpha teenagers are forced to go to her high school. And despite her efforts she is told to help the Alpha Prince, Fathom, learn to adjust to being an American Teenager. But, after they spend time together (Lyric is teaching him things like reading english, and doing things that are normal to her) she finds that she may like him a lot more then she would've ever thought. It would be very dangerous if they were to go places together as both sides (The Alpha + Humans) right to keep them and everyone else seperated, there's riots, gangs, and government officials saying basically, the Alpha are horrible, dangerous, violent people. But there are people (like lyric and her friends Bex + Shadow) Who try to show everyone is basically equal and should be aloud to even talk and/or hang out together. and with ALL of this happening Lyric and her parents have a huge secret that could endanger there lives. Beatrice Quimby, who is always known as just Beezus to her family, especially her younger sister, Ramona. Even though she loves her sister, Ramona, but nearly all of the time that Ramona has tendency to get on Beezus`s nerves. Her close friend, Henry Higgins, along with his dog, Ribsy. They has nearly always go to her house sometimes to play the chess but Ramona has ruined their game. But her aunt Beatrice and her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Quimby; during their childhood, they has always fighting, but they still love each other which has made Beezus realizes that even though she and Ramona fights; she still love her sister. This book is so good that I would recommend this book! - Happy Reading!

good book

This book is a lot of fun! My 7 year old brother and I had a good time picking out and doing the experiments. You can do many interesting things like make toilet volcanoes or even screaming balloons! Some of these experiments take only minutes, while others take longer. Be prepared to clean up though :) The great thing about these experiments is that all of the supplies needed can be found around the house. I think that this book would make a great gift. I believe that this book was geared towards 7-10 year olds, although some of the experiments require adult help. The book itself is well written for its purpose as it is easy to understand and follow along with the instructions. This book will provide hours of excitement. Overall I would rate this book a 4/5 only because I feel that some of the experiments were fillers, but the majority of them were thorough.

Charlie finds a golden ticket in one of Will Wonka's chocolates and gets to go to the factory. But why did Willy Wonka make this decision? Are there any tricks in this amazing factory? I personally love this book and I totally recommend it!

a ya book with aliens colonizing the earth? no, thanks. a ya book with aliens colonizing the earth written by fonda lee? sign me up! lee can turn basically anything into not just readable, but well-written material, so i was quite excited to read exo. it did not disappoint in the slightest. donovan reyes is the kind of guy everyone can root for, the chivalrous hero who sometimes makes questionable decisions but tries to do what's right. don't mistake him for a gary stu, though; he has real flaws. i liked how the story is written from the perspective of someone who's intimately familiar with aliens, not your typical invasion-fighting human. i also liked the nuance because what i normally see in sci-fi is aliens = bad, humans = good, but lee shows the good things that the zhree (what the aliens are called) did for earth too. the main character, donovan, is the son of a prime liasion (think diplomat with way more power), who maintains good relations with the zhree. understandably, not everyone on earth is happy with alien colonization; there's a faction of humans known as sapience who engage in violent terrorist attacks against zhree and other humans. donovan and his friends are exos, modified humans with fighting and pain withstanding abilities, and they police sapience sympathizers. but one day...disaster strikes. he is kidnapped by sapience. his father refuses to negotiate with the terrorist movement, and donovan is left to his own devices to survive. i'd like to applaud fonda lee for taking an unoriginal premise and making it so unique. i've read a bit of sci-fi before but never seen things exactly like zhree or exos. also, i'm a sucker for the enemies-to-lovers trope (donovan and anya) which was done well here. to summarize, exo is a spectacular book and if lee writes more in the future, i will sprint to the library (who cares if i got last place in track? i can run fast when i'm motivated by books).

Dana Burley, Abby`s daughter - but she is much more closer to her father, Zander. He is one who encourages her artistic talents, and Zander is a celebrated New-York author, even if he drinks too much. Her twin sister, Julia, always wanted to be dressed up same, which has annoyed Dana a little. Later, Zander, her father, dies due to the drowning, which has caused the Burley family to leave the New York to live in Maine. But Dana feels like her home belongs in New York so she decided to leave her family behind to live in New York with her young aunt Adele. During her time in NY, she was determined to study the art, attend school, and achieve an impendence. I would definitely recommend this. - Happy Reading!
