i like the book a lot

"I never had a home," writes Huck, "or went to school like all the other boys. I slept in the streets or in the woods, and I could do what I wanted, when I wanted. It was a fine life." Huck is a boy who doesn't like to wear clean clothes and live in a well home. He's father, Pop, is drunk everyday and hits him everytimes when he wants. Huck decides to run away! Stay away from his father and live in a place he likes forever. Together with a slave, Jim, they ran away with a raft. But, everyone is finding them, because people who find Jim can get 300 dollars for reward...... How is this adventure going to be?

I really want to read this book, it seems good. Somebody please tell me what it is about!

Nice book

This book is not really part of the series and is just there to tell another story. I loved this book, it was so exciting and you found out about things that you never really thought about.

So Shelly tells the story of the aftermath of Michelle's, referred to as Shelly, death. She had committed suicide, and the stories are told from alternating perspectives, her best friend since young childhood, who happened to also be her neighbor, and a junior in high school, who had been in her club, and had eventually become her friend. The two guys had never really favored one another, but take on a road trip, wishing to fulfill Shelly's last wish, to scatter her ashes while playing her favorite song. As secrets are revealed and the mystery unravels, both of the boys realize the actual purpose of their journey to the spot where Shelly wished her ashes to be scattered.

When they go for their daily swim in the Rio Bravo, Odilia and her four sisters would never in their wildest dreams imagine that a dead man would come floating down the river, and the journey he would take them on. After the initial shock of the discovery, the cinco hermanitas fish the dead body out of the water and investigate. He lived in Mexico, and a few of the sisters have the crazy idea of taking him back to his family—not tell the authorities or their mamá, and nothing bad will happen. That was their plan. What Odilia didn’t know was that the next day they would be driving to Mexico, to do exactly that. None of them knew it would take longer than a day, and they would encounter many obstacles along the way. Things take a turn for the worse, and they seek help wherever they can. But some of the “help” is leading them straight into a trap… In McCall’s second novel reminiscent of The Odyssey, five sisters forever together embark on a journey that is not quite as easy as it seems. My thoughts: This book was very unique. I really did enjoy it. The idea of this book is awesome—uh, yeah, PLEASE give me a cool Aztec folktale modern odyssey retelling! I loved the mystery of it all—the dad is nowhere to be found, and how is the mom going to react when she finds out her five daughters have gone missing? There was this part at the quinceañera where dread washed over me and THINGS WENT DOWN. I had a few minor problems with this book: the characters, and the transition. Ok, the characters. I am sorry, but they have SUCH bad judgement. I figured things out like 30 pages before they did and I kept waiting for the moment when they would realize. Yeah, follow that talking donkey who says he knows how to get you where you want to go, right after someone warns you of a warlock who is in an innocent disguise. I mean really. And that is NOT the only time that happened. Next, the book started out realistically. Then, all of the sudden, creepy owls and chupacabras and Aztec goddesses come and you’re like, “Huh?” But even after those problems, I have to give this book a good rating because I just loved reading it and it was such an interesting and lovely story.

This is a fantastic book and I recommend all the ones who like adventure books to check it out. At the start of the book, Sandor the main character is a student from an academy. Sandor isn't a good student, but very smart. He got ways to party in the night club underage and not being found by the teachers. One time when Sandor is partying, another type of race Mogadorians attacked Sandor's planet. It ended up that the attack is too much for Lorien, Sandor is smart and chosen to become the last survivors of Lorien. Going to Earth and survive the Mogadorians. I would like to know how it is feel like to leave your hometown and knowing that you are probably not coming back. I will be sad and terrified. Going to another planet without being trained. What happen if you got discovered by the Mogadorians. What happen if you don't make it back home. The feeling of being hunted is something that I don't like. But in a situation like that, I don't think I have a choice to decide whether being hunted or not. I am lucky enough to be a survivor so I would try to make my people proud by fighting my way back to my homeland again.

This book is an awesome batman book and shows his real awesomeness, stealth, and smartness. It also shows how superheros can save other superheros too.
