This book is great

We See is an ok book to read. The illustration is not that exciting. Dick and Jane went to the pond to scare away the ducks, and I don't think that is a nice thing to do.

This is a great book.

In the past, I have looked at a number of karate books, but the Karate Handbook by Fred Neff is the best of the lot. It does away with self-promotion and pushing a particular type of karate and instead centers in on what the reader needs to know. I especially find useful the way the author broke down each karate technique into its component parts so it is easier for the reader to learn. From my own experience this is the best way to learn. My dad and mom studied karate while in college. That is how they met. My mom taught me karate and used a similar step approach to the one used by Fred Neff in his book. I happened on this karate book by Fred Neff at the library and took it home to show my mom. She related going to a karate clinic where Fred Neff was present while she was in college. My mom raved about seeing him doing some unusual and visually exciting types of spinning and jumping kicks. These were not kicks my mom or my dad could do or are they covered in the book I am reviewing. This karate book by Fred Neff is perfect for a young person who is starting out with an interest in learning about karate. While the author is undoubtedly a karate master he understands that the average reader does not need to see in a book difficult to do kicks nor can she really learn advanced techniques in a book. The author rightly centers the Karate Handbook on practical down to earth approaches that are good for beginners. This book is great for the beginner in karate. A few weeks ago I bought a copy of the book at a used book store and I am now looking for more of Fred Neff's books. Of all the martial arts authors to me he is by far the top one.

it is amazing it guides you

I thought "I Was Here" was a really well-written book with a great storyline and a lot of thought-provoking concepts about life, death, bravery, and choice. I would like to give it 3.5 stars but that isn't an option so 3 works. The reason I didn't give this book more is because it was pretty slow-going most of the time and never reached the level of "good-ness" I thought it would. However, I still liked it well enough and I think it's still worth recommending.

I like this book because when Imogene's brother finds out what she is turning into her mother faints. This book is funny.

Gabe and Lea were meant to be together. They like each other, but they are not willing to admit it to each other. This is the story about them, during college, told from the viewpoints of their friends, baristas, and even a squirrel. From the creative writing teacher’s obsession with trying to get them together to the Chinese food delivery guy giving them advice, the one thing they all want is for Gabe and Lea to get together. A cute, summery debut, Sandy Hall writes an adorable story told from unique points of view. My thoughts: I thought this book was awesome! It was so cute, and I really enjoyed it. First, THAT COVER. It’s GORGEOUS. I loved all the viewpoints in this story. Because of the 14 viewpoints, it can get a little confusing but do NOT not read this book because you think you are going to be confused. It tells you who the POV changes to every time, and it makes the book better. It is so cool hearing from everyone, and having Gabe and Lea’s love story being told by everyone but them is so different and awesome. I thought this book was really fun and happy and a fast read that you should definitely pick up.

This book is fascinating and it makes the legend of dragons seem like real, but a long time ago. It shows all kinds of dragons and even dinosaurs. It talks about how they lived and survived.
