I would recomed this book to a person who loves to learn about WW 2 and what happened that Day. My favorite part was to learn that the British invented the radar.

Bandette Volume 1: Presto!

Bandette Volume 1: Presto!

By Paul Tobin

I don't usually review comics, but this one definitely took my expectations for comics to a whole new level. Beautifully illustrated and set in a modern time France, we meet our heroine swiftly, Bandette! Presto! A absolutely love her wit, her grace, and of course, her knockout spray, secret hideout (with the code to enter posted courteously on a sticky note right outside the hideout), her not-all-that-secret passion for chocolate bars, her dramatic yellow cape, and of course, her puppy, Pimento! Very inspiring (and hilarious) for teen girls (but don't worry, boys'll love it too). Usually I have a thing against perfect heroes, but Bandette pulled it off and stole the show (literally). Definitely going to be reading this series! The only thing I would mention is that there is a tiny bit of bad language, but other than that it was presto! :)
