By Yona Zeldis McDonough

John F. Kennedy was The 35th President of The United States. When he was in the U.S Navy he saved a man's life when there boat was destroyed. He was apart of the House of Representatives & the Senate and he was married and had 2 children. I'm 1963 he was assassinated while riding in a parade in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald. J.F.K is a president that no one will fail to remeber. If you want to learn more about him I never highly recommended this book. Thanks for reading -Ajg16's reviews

Who Was Elvis Presley?

Who Was Elvis Presley?

By Geoff Edgers

I loved this book! It was about the famous singer in the 1900's... ELVIS PRESLEY! It was really cool for me to learn something about a singer I knew nothing about. Then I realized that Elvis's history was really cool. At Elvis's concerts, some of the kids thought his outfits were really cool so they wanted to dress like them but their parents wouldn't let them because they thought the outfits were not appropriate. He was also born in the Great Depression. The Great Depression was really sad and his life was sad because his family was poor. I would recommend all of the Who Was? Books.

Who Were the Beatles?

Who Were the Beatles?

By Geoff Edgers

This book is a great description about the Beatles' lives. It tells about John, Paul, George, and Ringo from when they were born and until they died. It tells about when they met and how they met. Its interesting how 4 poor, or sickly, or bullied kids become one of the most popular, rich, and succsessful bands ever. Do they split up? Do they stay together? Read the book to find out!

Who Was King Tut?

Who Was King Tut?

By Roberta Edwards

“Who Was King Tut?” by Roberta Edwards deserves a five-star review. The book deserves this rating for many reasons. First, the goal of the author was to inform us about Egyptian life and customs during Tut’s life and what Tut himself would have experienced as a young pharaoh. The book explained this very thoroughly. I think that the most surprising part of the book was when the author described how ancient Egyptians thought the afterlife was better than life on Earth. People even started planning out the design of their tombs before they died. I was surprised, because they believed you could experience the same pleasures in the afterlife and on Earth, so how were they different? Ultimately, I would recommend this book to others because it talks about Tut’s life as well as ancient Egyptian culture, giving you an abundance of information.
