The Mage (Foxcraft, Book 3)
By Inbali Iserles
Animal luvr V.S
I just started reading a couple pages of this book but I’ve already read the first and second. I LOVED the other books and I’m really excited to read further into this one(if it’s awesome like the previous books which I’m sure it is). I love the detail of the books although the vocabulary can be a little more complex at times. I find the Isla’s adventures very interesting along with new characters she encounters throughout her journeys. I also find the different Foxcrafts very interesting along with the chants( it makes me wish I was a fox so I could preform them as well)! I’m sad that this is the last book but I’m really happy I discovered this sequel. I recommend these books to all animal lovers and even if you’re not one, yet*, it’ll definitely make you loves foxes!
Rainbow Magic Special Edition: Brianna the Tooth Fairy
By Daisy Meadows
I read this years ago. It's a good one.
Skulduggery Pleasant
By Derek Landy
This is the third book in the "Skulduggery Pleasant" series and in this book Valkyrie and Skulduggery are trying to find out who is killing the Teleporters and planning to bring back the dark gods. In this book, I liked how the author added a mysterious and creepy feeling in some parts and like the other books in this series, you can't guess who and what will happen next. When I finished the book, I was very surprised to find out who was actually the bad guys because like I said, the author made it very unpredictable. I also liked how the author sometimes used a chapter to show us the conversations of the antagonists so we can know what's going on for the antagonists and what they are planning, because some other books might just be talking about the main character and we won't even have a clue who or what the antagonists are and what they are doing. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend this book to others who like magic and would rate it 5/5 stars.
I Hunt Killers
By Barry Lyga
What if the world's greatest serial killer was your dad? I Hunt Killers By Barry Lyga. I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I liked the book because it was very detailed, and it had a lot of suspense, action and mystery. Jasper’s (Jazz) dad was the world's best serial killer. He had killed over 300 people before getting caught. Jazz’s mom disappeared many years ago, and Jazz barely remembers her. Before Jazz was old enough to know any better, Billy Dent (Jazz’s father who he calls Dear Old Dad) attempted to teach Jazz the all the tricks to killing and how not to get caught and how not to feel bad about it. Now that Billy is in prison, Jazz is trying to have a normal highschool life. He lives with his grandmother, who's rapidly becoming crazy. He also has a best friend he would do anything for, and a girlfriend. Then when dead bodies start piling up in Lobo's Nod. Jazz starts experiencing those same feelings he had when he was with his dad. His dad is still locked up, but Jazz believes it's another serial killer. In an effort to prove murder doesn't run in the family he joins the police in a hunt to find the killer. Will things he had learned from his Dad help him hunt down the killer, Or could Jazz be more like his father than anyone would have thought? I Hunt Killers is the first book in a series. The next book in the series is Game. A Similar book to I Hunt Killers is called I Am Not A Serial Killer. I think that boys or girls would like this book. Especially people who like reading about investigators, police, killers, mysteries, suspense, and action.
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
By Robert Louis Stevenson
The lesson that DR. Jekyll learns is that he shouldn't have taken the drug because it changes his life forever. For example, when DR. Jekyll turns into Hyde, his personality changes into evil. He can be hazardous because in the book it says that he killed someone and ran away. This shows that trying to change yourself has very negative affects. For one, he can't spend time with the people he likes, for fear of turning into Hyde, and he can't do his projects because he might turn into Hyde. Also, now people are going to keep an eye on Hyde and if someone sees him turn back into Jekyll, then it will be really risky. DR. Jekyll will be in a worse situation because of it and now, he can never be himself without Hyde. If Jekyll didn't take the drug, he would be better off without Hyde around. I rate this book a “7 out of 10” and the illustrations a “5 out of 10.” I really recommend this book because it is full of mystery and action and after every page there is a picture, which makes it very easy to visualize. One unanswered question I would like to ask is… What made MR. Hyde so evil? Was it something in the drug? If so, would Jekyll still have some control over Hyde because Jekyll has the same brain when he turns into Hyde?

Revenge of the Witch (Last Apprentice)
By Joseph Delaney
Okay I'm gonna be honest, when I first started reading it seemed just like an average crappy dark fanstasy novel. But lord, this series really does pick up steam. Ive been reading all of the books on and off for the past year or two, and I just finished the last book. Joseph Delaney really did put a lot of effort into this series and it totally pays off. Hes got an awesome way of creating imagery that gives you a sort of eerie feeling, and he is incredible at giving things detailed history that makes you hungry for lore and the history of chippenden and the world outside of the county. Amazing all around.
