Kids Books - Science Fiction

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Half Upon A Time series!!! I recommend it to all my friends. James Riley has such a way of capturing these fairy-tales. I'm not sure who my favorite character is, because it's so hard to choose!!! XD Amazing book!

When eleven year old Loreli finds out the secrets inside the school, it`s up to her to stop the witches and save the children. I loved the book with all my heart, the plot made me more and more curious as I continued reading. The book taught me that nothing is ever as it seems. It showed me that you should always wonder, let your imagination spark and grow till it`s so strong you can`t even stop it. Anyone who wants to read a book about fantasy, witches and bravery should definitely consider reading this book.

I really loved this book. Barnaby is a boy who is not normal. He's different. He floats! Once his parents decide that they are not having someone who is NOT normal in their family, Barnaby travels the world and meets new friends. Barnaby is not going to let his parents change who he is....

This book is really intense, but SO GOOD! There are some deaths to strong characters, but it so well written. Anyway, Martin grew up isolated, away from everything else in the world. He and his dad. He occasionally sneaks off to play with a boy named George, but their friendship slowly fades. One day, his dad leaves him, going on a journey to find a missing piece of a machine. Then, George's family leaves, as well. After a long time of waiting, Martin realizes his father isn't coming back. He sails to a town, where he meets Kelvin, who doesn't want Martin to know what he is doing. Martin keeps traveling, until he finds Xibalba, where the last kids on earth live. They go through many hardships together, trying to find the rest of the world. Amazing book!

This book is probably one of the books that really got me into mystery. It tells the story of Sophronia, a girl who is unladylike in the 19th century, which is precisely what she is not supposed to be. She is recruited to a finishing school by her mother's seemingly boring and old friend. She goes to the school and realizes it is not at all what she expected... If you are looking for an adventure story that's fun to read with some mystery mixed in, this book is for you.
