By M.P. Kozlowsky
I loved the book. Its the kind of book that I would read anywear at anytime. Its exciting, sad, happy, action packed, and relatible. If my pet was dying I would want to get help too. And I would try to help them no matter what.

Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey (Collector's Edition)
By Bob McCabe, Jody Revenson, Moira Squier
Rowling depicted this book perfectly. I have read every single book, dressed up as Heromine and Cho 2 years in a row, and visited orlando studios and rode every single ride. Just saying, BUTTERBEER IS AWESOME.
Potterwookiee: The Creature from My Closet
By Obert Skye
It was a book that had adventure. It also had good characters. And it also had magic. It is also a very neat book because it is the 2nd book in the series. Also it had 241 pages and only took me a day and a half to read it. I could hardly put it down after I started it!
The Earth Dragon Awakes: The San Francisco Earthquake of 1906
By Laurence Yep
I had not read much about this terrible event until I read this account. I loved the way the author wrote this story about two boys who were best friends who were caught in this earthquake. The author uses many similes and language that completely gives the reader such a sense that you are really there. It is well written and the chapters are short so it is an easy read.
Alistair Grim's Odditorium
By Gregory Funaro
In Alistair Grim's Odditorium Grubb is a 12-year old boy who works as a chimney sweep, but only receives pitiful amounts of food and beatings from his cruel master. All that changes the day he stows away in a trunk of a wealthy guest at the hotel he is cleaning. He dreams he is flying, and when he wakes up, he finds himself in London in the Odditorium. The Odditorium is full of many magic items-known as odditoria. Grubb becomes Mr. Grim's apprentice. But before long the Odditorium is attacked and they take off flying in order to prevent the magic from falling into evil hands. They must defeat Prince Nightshade, and protect the magic of the world. I liked in this book that there was lots of adventure, and there many different pieces that all fit together at the end-there were partly mysteries. The book wasn't predictable. I didn't like that some issues were not resolved in the book-there was a cliffhanger. This book is part of series, and could not stand by itself. I do know there is a sequel though-I just have to get my hands on it. I recommend this book to adventure lovers and fantasy lovers. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
Murder At Midnight
By Avi
I think that this book focuses on some old-fashioned and unique topics. I would give it 2 or 3 stars out of 5. The reason for this lower score is that I think other kids won't be as interested in this storyline. It takes place in a time period that is well known. Personally, many parts were hard to follow and understand. I think it takes an older mind to read and decipher this story. I do think if it was rewritten that it could be easier to understand, just not in the current format.
The Fall of the House of West (Battling Boy)
