Kids Books - Science Fiction

Matthias starts out as an adorable pup of a mouse and ends up a good and formidable young adult mouse. He is the protagonist and you can't help but adore him, together with Constance the Badger and the old Methuselah mouse... The second favorite of mine, Silent Sam, is plain cute, and the Sparrow and Rabbit are great supporting characters! But the star of the show is definitely the writing style and the enchanted atmosphere of this world. The descriptions are brisk but just enough to give you a feel of the forest and its inhabitants, while the banter is plentiful and lively. The whole book reads very smoothly and there is no chance of you getting lost along the way. I loved all the different characters, and really enjoyed the old-school valiant hero and terrible villain. I also liked that the author didn't shy away from death and pain. Actions have consequences and kids, who often believe themselves invulnerable, eventually have to deal with the changes that come from the passing of someone, and that life changes, but keeps on going... 5/5 star :)

This book is amazing! On the challenging scale, I would rate it a 3 - super good! I rate it a 3 because I learned a lot, but there weren’t many challenging words. What especially surprised me was when Alvar was like, “Huh? Who’s Alvar?” It was a very cliffhanger-y end to the story. I also liked that Sophie got to see Amy/Natalie again. It was funny when Amy got ride on Silveny and she’s all, “Aggghhh! But this is sooo fun!” It would be cool if Amy could teleport with Silveny, but that would be dangerous since nobody knows if Silveny would come back. I think that 4th to 7th graders would benefit from this book the most, since I think that 8 year-olds wouldn’t understand it as much.

This book is really good!! It is about. a girl who escaped a teacher from killing her in the woods and had to move far away from home because after she got away from the woods he would not leave her alone. She had to leave the boy she liked alone his name was Chris. They got to wear they were going and her and her sister met some new people that turned into be there friends. But then the killer found wear they were and taked one of her friends and her sister!!!!! WILL SHE GET THEM BACK BEFORE IT IS TO LATE???

A few cuss words, but all the way through, the suspension, the emotion, the description of the INK DEMON, even THIS BOOK IS UH-MAH-ZING!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITES, AND THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH ADRIENNE KRESS FOR WRITING THIS UHMAHZING BOOK!!!! This winglet stars the infamous Nightwing asssasin DeathBringer. This short story was highly entertaining to read, and gives a whole lot of depth to DeathBringer's character, who we meet in Book 4. I highly reccomend for any dragon fan or WOF fan to come and read this short story!!

The Winglets are short stories in the wings of fire universe that give more depth into certain characters and events. This one is centered around Icewing prince, Prince Arctic and his lover Foeslayer. It tells the story of how exactly they escaped the Icewing palace, and Arctic's descent into his abusive, and dark complanitive personality. If you are a WOF fan I highly reccomend getting this book so you can understand certain characters and events better.

My sister received this book for Christmas, and it is amazing! It combines both drawing and writing aspects into it, so you can make your own dragon world! It inspires people who may not always like to write into writing their own fun fantasty world similar to Wings of Fire!

I love Wings of Fire! At first, it was a little hard getting into this book, but I eventually finished it and was blown away. This is one of my favorite books in the series as it stars one of my favorite dragons Sundew, a fierce short tempered Leafwing who is trying to save the lost Continent Pantala from the evil Queen Wasp. This book does contain some mentionings of violence, so Iwould say the best age group would be 9+.

The Harry Potter books are J.K Rowling’s best installation. These books are recommended for anyone wanting a heart stopping, funny, magical, and unique book. This is one of the most famous book series in history, and J.K Rowling was on Time for Kids’ Bestselling Authors and she was #1 on Top Earning authors, beating Jeff Kinney of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. These books are about an unusual boy, Harry Potter, with unusual things happened get around him. Living with his careless and mean Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and Dudley, he gets made fun of from his broken glasses o his baggy clothes that once belonged to Dudley, who is spoiled and huge. One day, Hagrid, keeper of the Hogwarts keys, came and told Harry the real reason his parents died, and invited him to the greatest school, Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Full of adventures with Ron Weasley, his poor and funny friend, and Hermione Granger, Muggle Witch and smartest in the class. Traveling to book to book is Harry Potter getting a year older each book, and stay with him from when he’s 11 all the way to 18. This book will bring you many sad moments, chuckles, and leave you rooting for J.K Rowling, and you won’t put the book down until every lady bit of it is done.

A collection of every beast, animal, and monster in the wizard word out together in alphabetical order, how dangerous it really is and full detail of it. This book is supposed to be. Harry's school book (that he shares with Ron) and it is full of funny notes that they have written being funny. I think this was really fun to read and is a good companion book with the 7 Harry Potter Books. Recommended to anyone who reads Harry Potter. Thanks for reading -Ajg16's reviews
