This book is about a little boy named Spencer who doesn’t like to read. He’s given a magic stone that sends him into whatever story he’s reading. He reads a story with a dinosaur, and is sent into that story. During his time there, he helps the characters in the story. This book is pretty good. The characters have a lot of personality, but I didn’t feel satisfied at the end. I would recommend this book though.

this book is the best book ever. My school library has both books 1 and 2 but they dont have book 3

I did this book for a book club and it was amazing. Me and my friend read the whole series in a week because it was so good. It has social issues, great writing and amazing story lines. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys science fiction or fantasy.

This is the most amazing book that paints a awesome picture in my mind! Even if you dont know the myths you can learn them in a fun adventurous way through these mind blowing books!

Trenton and Kallista have just followed the clues and plans left by Kallista's father Leo Babbage to build a flying dragon machine called Landon. Now they are on the search to find Kallista's father. They hope that they will find answers in the city of Seattle. But instead all they find is a burnt-down forest, ruined buildings, and an underground city. And when they are taken down into the city they find the beginnings of a civil war between the Whipjacks, and the Order of the Beast, a group of people who believe dragons are immortal gods. They have a truce with the emerald dragon that reign the sky above, and who protects them from other dragons. But recently the green dragon has disappeared-and Kallista and Trenton know where-and the other dragons have attacked. After being imprisoned for invading, they are saved by Cochrane, a friend of Kallista father who only recently left the city. Cochrane enlists the help of the pair to help him on several machines in order to defeat the dragons-although the orders think they are protecting the city from invaders. Trenton and Kallista must hide the fact that they killed the dragon when he attacked their city in the weeks before. But through all the work Trenton does around the machines, Kallista is obsessed with the pursuit of knowledge and finding out where her father is. But strange things are going on. Who can Kallista and Trenton trust? Who are their friends? Is Cochrane, the dimber damber? Is Plucky the Whipjack girl with mechanical legs? What about Ander, the young member of the Order who keeps hanging around? And where has Leo Babbage disappeared to? I loved that I was kept on the edge of my seat during this book. I was always wondering what was coming next, and who I could trust. I really liked that it was a fresh fantasy, that combined elements of magic, but also had lots of problem solving and more practical work with mechanics and technology. I would not suggest reading this book without the 1st book of the series. Otherwise it is hard to understand. I recommend this book to fantasy lovers and adventure lovers. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I really like this book so far, but it makes me upset that Doppy dies. Why couldn't it have been creature!?!?

By the way I read this book but it's got grossed out by Agent J agent o p agent G but I can't squeeze her wounded leg that have getting scratched by nirads and that she could shoot fire out of her hands she wasn't able to control it and she burned Pegasus and she has to kill nirads and that Pegasus had golden hooves that can hurt nirads and that Palin can stretch his own bones like sticks and stones may break my bones but you can never kill me yeah but and the origins of Olympus just sad

Trout and Po St. Kroix (those aren't their real names) live by themselves. Their mother died in a car accident and their father went to fight in the BOT WARS and hasn't returned. His I.D. chip hasn't showed up online, and it starts to worry Trout. The U.S. has split into Districts and BOT WARS broke out bcuz bots became advanced and they started to outnumber humans. Trout posts a video on the web asking if anyone had seen his dad, and soon, reporters come running to his house. Po gets upset for some reason, and one day he leaves and doesn't come back. Soon after he is missing too. Trout gets a call from him, and Po tells him to run bcuz the police are after him. He doesn't know why he's running or where his father is. Will he ever get his family back together? So AWESOME! U'll hafta read the rest... :)

So far I am loving this book. I had read it when I was a bit younger and decided to read it again. I would recommend to any one looking for a different book to read.

This is a great book, because it have many activities in the book! There are like the flip thing, comic, chapter, and story.
