SO COOL

This book is awesome, andventurous, cool ,exiting, and an all out great book. So if you like the legend of Zelda series you will love love I tell you love this book.

This book was great. A way to tie the stories together, a non-boring "bridging book" The writers of this serires have MEGA-TALENT!!!

The difficult thing to understand about The Blood Guard, is how Carter Roy came up with it. The twists. The shocks. The humor. The times you're angry at yourself for not realizing what was coming. The moment you feel so nervous, so relieved, so thrilled, so downright betrayed, that when you try to explain you just can't find the right words. I've finally got mine figured out though: Thirteen-year-old Evelyn Truelove (whose name really sucks, since he's a boy) takes far too many extracurricular activities. Fencing. Self-defense. Martial Arts. Metalworking. Gymnastics. And that's not even close to half. When his mom picks him up from school one day, speeds at an insanely abnormal rate, fights so-called "bad guys" in the middle of a street, drives through stairs, and pretty much abandons him at a train station in the hands of a pickpocket, he finally figures out why. His mother is part of The Blood Guard: a secret society with the goal of protecting the 36 Pures. To his utter astonishment, he meets Greta Sustermann along the way. Greta, the boastful, talkative, full-of-herself-girl, whose dad works at the FBI. Together, they go through an epic adventure, with some unexpected surprises along the way. A chair that saves a life. A guy who can't die? A man who, well, literarily loses his head, and then uses it as a weapon. A not-so-pure Pure. A traitor who never was a traitor. A fate that leaves you on the tips of your toes for a sequel.

This is a pretty good book about this boy named Jack who wakes up one day with a white V shape on his head! Later he blacks out and wakes up in what he thought was a hospital but soon finds out that it is actually a research center! There are three other kids with the same V shape on their heads! They find out that they are descendant of the royal family of Atlantis and carry this gene that would kill them unless they stayed there and took their treatment! The thing is that it would only protect them until they turn 14! So they have to travel around the world and find these lost items from Atlantis to create a antidote! This gene also takes there talents and turns them into super human abilities!

This is a great book about the adventure of Promi the street thieve and Atlanta who lives in the forest! One day Promo is caught for stealing and is thrown in the dungeon where he gains magic from the last of the listeners along with a sassy creature! Atlanta was born with magical green eyes and she draws it from her forest home! One day her home is threatened and she ends up in the city where she meets Promi! They join together to save the world and uncover Promi's past!

Tree Girl by T.A. Baron is a compelling book that unfolds the story of a girl who has always dreamed of her mother and longed for her, yet never met her. Does the forest and her mother somehow have a connection? Tree girl is an excellent story full of magic, friendship and courage!

Nightbird by Alice Hoffman is about a girl named Twig Fowler who's family is cursed. Along time ago, a witch cast a spell, saying that all the men and boys in the Fowler family would have wings. And so, for years, the family has been living away from the public eye, afraid of what might happen if someone knew their secret. When Twig meets a girl named Julia, who's great ancestor was the witch that cursed the Fowler family, the girls become strong friends. Then, Julia accidentally learns Twig's secret and the two girls start working together to reverse the curse that has haunted the Fowler family for generations...! This is a great book full of adventure, friendship and magic!

This is one of my favorite books ever. It is a wonderful story about sisterly love, facing your fears, and never giving up. Addie was always the shy one. Scared of spiders and strangers, griffins and ghosts. But it turns out that she is braver then she thinks. Meryl however, is daring and bold, funny and outgoing. She wants to go out into the world on adventures. But when Meryl becomes deathly ill with the 'grey death', Addie will do anything to save her. Gail Carson Levine's outstanding tale will captivate readers young and old.

Do you like William Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer's Night Dream?' Or are you a big fan of baking and creativity? If so, then this book is for you! Midsummer's Mayhem by Rajani LaRocaa is about a girl named Mimi who has always loved to bake in incorporate herbs into her creations. When Mimi visits the new cafe in the town of Comety called The While Away, she decides to join the the baking contest they are offering. As she tries her hardest to get to the top three in the contest, Mimi finds herself in one interesting adventure after the next. I loved reading this book full of enchantment, friendship, magic and flour, sugar and butter!
