Imagine if you were traveling to a new planet on a huge spaceship? Then imagine if the pod that was keeping you alive, young and well through the long journey from Earth malfunctioned, leaving you awake 100 years before you were supposed to arrive at the new planet? This all happened to Zero, a kid who's innitial excitement of being alone on the ship after he was awakened is crushed when a band of pirates boards the ship with a plan to destroy it and enslave all the people aboard. Zero now has to find a way to save himself and eveyrone aboard the spaceship from exslavement, while trying to make sure he can not be found by these evil pirates. This is an amazing, cosmic, sci-fy story about the power of believing in the out of the universe!

I pulled this book off of the Young Adult shelves expecting some light fiction, but I really enjoyed some of the deeper meanings behind this story! Yes, it is a retelling of Snow White, but with insights that really apply to most women today. First of all, the two most prominent female characters are alike in that they find themselves unacceptable- like two sides of a coin, even their names are like each other. One, however, becomes the villain, and the other, the heroine. But Levine paints the two characters so you can see how one, in coming to accept herself as she is, finds happiness and bestows grace on those around her, and how the other, in hating herself and trying to be other than what she is, ends up destroying the kingdom.

After getting shunned from the mansioning apprentice master, Elodie has nowhere else to go. Without money, shelter, or any friends, she finds help from the dragon, called Meenore. Elodie uses her deductive thinking to solve a mystery in Two Castles. I would recommend this for ages 10+ I usually like mysteries so I thought that this one was also quite good. The pace was okay but in the end the plot had such a surprising twist!!! I still like Ella Enchanted better though.

It is cool and you never know what's happening. Also kind and nice I love it so I want to read it .it so good and fun cool love it .mrs LaPonsie shroud get one loving my book.

This is a truly touching story about friendship, love, and pushing people to be their best...and it will defenitly make you cry at the end. "If you only had one last day on earth..."

I won this book in a giveaway and when I finally got around to reading, it was pretty good but kind of confusing and I just didn't really like it much. It just wasn't very memorable.

I love these series of books. There are 4 in the series, and they are by Dan Gutman. The only one that I have not read, is the fourth and final one. If you are interested in history, I would really recommend these series of books! This one is all about the Pompei Diaster! Love these. #thumbs up!

The perfect guide to surviving the depths of the spooky graveyard! Read all about zombies, mummies, ghost, werewolves and some more creepers of the night. Some of the "articles" in the book where kinda creepy and some weren't that interesting and for every scary monster page there is a funny joke like - why did the skeleton not cross the road? --- It didn't have the guts! This was a very interesting book by Lauren Myracle. I wasn't sure if it was going to be my style of book or not, and it wasn't, but I still liked it a lot! It is a half mystery and half fantasy book, and I really liked it. Natasha Blok lives in an interesting and different town which is blanketed in magic, but not everyone believes in it. The tradition goes like this, on the third night of the third month after a girls thirteenth birthday, they get to make three wishes, the first wish is an impossible wish, the second is a wish she can make come true herself, and the last and final wish is the deepest wish of her secret heart. Natasha wants to believe in this magical tradition that her great, great.... (I am not exactly sure how many greats).....grandmother started, but is not sure if she should. Now, she ends up making her three wishes and mysterious things start happening, including notes that she isn't sure who they are coming from, an eccentric old lady, and crushes (though not exactly who she was expecting). The book gets only partly wrapped up in the end and you have to read the next book to find out what happens. I loved this book because it was very easy to relate to and I think that this book is a great read for middle school girls.
