In this book Tara is forced to visit her mom's home town, Willow Falls, due to an incident involving a stolen goat, a can of pepper spray, and the principal. At first Tara's bummed. But after arriving at Willow Falls Tara is starting to feel a little bit better. For the first time, she's making new friends, she and her cousin are finally getting along, she might meet Jake Harrison ( a teenage movie idol) and she's even directing a play! I love this book it was my favourite book and it is still one of my favourites but I have read more now.I love this book because it really takes you in you feel like you are in the book and the pictures are great too I hope if have a chance to read it read it.If you like adventures and magical mystical books that has black lions well then this book is for you!!!

The book has a very "Harry Potter" feel to it. A boy with a special ability is sent to a magical school. When my friend first introduced this series to me, it didn't look very exciting. But remember, don't judge a book by it's cover! I was hooked by the end of the first few chapters and read up to Charlie Bone and the Red King. Overall, THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!

This my favorite book.Once I read this book I couldn't stop reading,I felt like I was Emily Windsnap. Finally Emily Windsnap (she is a half person and half mermaid) is at Allpoints Island hanging out with her BFF Shona and her friend Aaron(half person and mermaid too). They have many adventure's and find out the siren's secret and have a beautiful ending.I hope you love this book and it's amazing.

Hey this book is great! If you are looking for a mystery, horror, humor novel this is the book for you. Its about four kids who buy a wish from a strange man. Its an amazing novel that has won an newbery award.

I like this book, because this book is about hero fighting bad guy. But these hero now have new teams.

Have you ever wondered what life at a freak show would be, or how would life be if you had to go against your morals just to survive? Well in the book i’m reviewing it is called Cirque Du Freak:The Vampire’s Assistant it is by: Darren Shan in the last book Darren the protagonist just got turned into a half vampire to save his best friend steve. While the antagonist is R.V (or reggie) because he freed the wolfman that got Darren’s new friend killed. The book has no certain time period although it can be inferred that it takes place in the late 90’s or early 2000’s also the setting jumps around a lot seeing how they are on the move for the good portion of the book but it does take place in a field, a small campsite and a train station (also a couple farms). One major conflict is when R.V releases the wolfman and it killed sam and a few freaks. The second major conflict faced throughout the book is that Darren does not want to drink human blood even if it means he will die. The turning point is when Darren drinks the blood of his fallen friend to save the memories that would be lost. I would recommend this book to people who like long series and books that are a bit more grown up, this book is more for 6th graders or older.

I'm right now on the 5th book and the series so far are so good. I can't put these books down because they're are sooo super good. If you read the first one you will be hooked into it like a fish.

The fourth book in The Missing; Jonah and Katherine are sent to 1611 to fix (and save) the year 1600. Jonah is supposed to act like John Hudson, Henry Hudson’s son on his ship The Discovery. With a futuristic exact John Hudson costume being worn by Jonah, he is the perfect John Hudson and Katherine is invisible. With a planned mutiny of Henry Hudson onboard, Jonah and Katherine need to figure out how to save history. Henry Hudson surrenders to the mutineers and agrees to go on a shallop with a few other shipmates to find the Northwest Passage. After they narrowly escape an iceberg, they see the ship coming back for them from the south when it was headed North. Then they spot the Northwest Passage. Second is at the helm and changing history up. So, after Jonah is put in the stocks and they find out one of the men is Second, they go back in time to where they were in the shallop trying to make things right and not be forced by Second’s hand. Will history fall apart, or will they succeed in making things right? What I thought about it Margaret Peterson Haddix is a wonderful author. She writes books in a way that you can see what’s happening clearly with your imagination. I discovered her from Into The Gauntlet, the tenth 39 Clues book. Then I read Found and Sent and loved those so I said, “Why not continue the series?” So I did with Sabotaged and Torn. It took me a long time to read both of them and I was actually anxious to finish and get on with another book. Sabotaged in my opinion was pretty confusing in some parts; I liked it, but there are so many things happening, that at one point it just confuses you. I had similar feelings with Torn, but it was slow-paced and didn’t have enough action. I have started reading the next one and I hope it will be better. I was sort of disappointed that Haddix made me want to finish to read something else. I hope she redeems herself with some other good books in the series.
