This book is about a wizard named Septimus Heap. He is the seventh son of the seventh son and that is supposed to mean he has special magical powers. How the people in his word spell magic is like this "m-a-g-y-k". Septimus is really interested in "physik" and wants to learn how to do it but the only obstacle is that the only person who knew how to do it died hundreds of years ago. Septimus' sister is being haunted by a ghost that is her great great great great great great great great great grandmother (that kills her own daughters ). The ghost wants to get rid of Septimus first so e can't stop her so she puts a curse on him that he will drown that midnight unless he looks into a weird mirror. he looks into the mirror and gets sucked in. The mirror turns out to be a portal between two different times. Septimus gets to learn physik and meet the person who created physik. Then Jenna (Sep's sister) gets sucked into it also and everybody thinks she is the lost princess. Will they get out and survive or will they die in they're past. read what happened before in "Magyk" and "Flyte" then read this book to find out what happens to them. Good luck!

Very good book in a great series! I read this book fast and enjoyed it very much. It is an easy read and Dav Pilkey is an excellent author.

I recently read this book, and it was awesome. There was something that caught me and kept me hooked to the very end of the book. This all started when Murph moves to a new city. His mom looks for a school, and one day she finds two simple words on a wooden fence.- "The School".. His first period was CAPE and some kids were breaking T.V.'s, making two horses appear, expanding his body parts. Murph had no such talents and he was confused as to why he was even here. At the end he finally realized you don't need to have superpowers to be a superhero. This book is very fun to read and I enjoyed reading it a lot.

The School for Good and Evil: The Ever Never Handbook is a backstory and extra information on the amazing series, The School For Good and Evil by Sonam Chainani. It explains some of the different parts of the books, has illustrations of each of the main characters and teachers at the School for Good and Evil, and shows different spells and recipes used in the books. I really liked reading and enjoying this book and I definitely reccomend it to lovers of the School for Good and Evil!!

Or will it prove to be too hard for some? Lusa is anxious to see more of the world...but finds out there are many dangers she may not be able to face. Toklo is still grieving for his lost friend, but the bear seeks refuge in others like him. Great read! Truly awesome, and a must-read for animal lovers...very heartwarming. I really liked this book, and thought it was adventurous and heroic, wild and wonderful. Prepare to be amazed and very, very interested!
