Kids Books - Science Fiction

As a fifth grader I love this book. It has some bad words and some graphic ideas but except for that, it is an amazing book. It is about friendship, and betrail… with a little bit of dark magic. I think it is an amazing book and you should totally read it.

Whoever hates this book *hint hint* is not welcome here. Maximum Ride is AWESOME ESPECIALLY THE MANGA VERSION :D i hope the anime comes out

Wow. This is the first word I said after I read this book. Harper has moved into a new house and doesn't like it. There are rumors that the house is haunted. When her younger brother Michael acts strange and Harper is worried. She finds out that her brother is being possessed by a bad ghost. Harper has to save her brother and banish the ghost with help of some friends. Will Harper save Michael? You'll have to read the book to find out! Definitely a spine chiller book and perfect for Halloween or any other time in the year.

As it is, Lilith must break the rules, and learn the magic of the undead-even if she is a girl. Thorn is the son of an outlaw and he has been captured in slavery. When Tyburn, an executioner for House Shadow, buys him from his master, he is forced to make the decision to stay with Tyburn-for a whole year and one day. But all he wants is to be free. When Thorn arrives at House Shadow he meets Lilith. Will two people who come from different worlds be able to work together to reach their dreams? Much of this book is about the art of nethermancy, so if that makes you uncomfortable this is not the book for you. It was a book filled with adventure and dark magic. I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars, not because it wasn't written well or hair-raising(it certainly was), but because it wasn't my style or preference.

Stunning book, packed with adventure and thrill...purr-fect! Very engaging, and a must-read for animal lovers. The Eye of Minds is a adventurous science fiction book. Michael is one of the many people that love the VirtNet. A virtual reality type of video game except your hole body goes in to a coffin like bed with wires and straps etc. And you can see and feel and talk to other people on the VirtNet. Michael is also a good hacker, his friends Sarah and Bryson are also good hackers. But stuff are going on in the game, far more than Michael can understand. People are actually killing themselves in the game. (Usually they just end up waking in their coffin.) but they are destroying their codes witch keep them alive, and Michael has even witnessed it first hand. Its hard for him to deal with but he stills has a real life and has to go to school. His parents who are gone a lot because of work so they hired him a nanta named Helga. She feeds him then sends him off to school, while walking to school one day he decides to take a different route in a alley. But a van comes and some men wearing black masks take him to a place he does not recognize. There he finds out its the a VNS, the people who made the VirtNet. Agent Weber tells him that Kaine ( whoever that is) is trapping people in the VirtNet and he needs to be stopped. The VNS has watched Michael and his friends and want them to help. But they can't tell anyone. Michael has questions, but Weber won' answer. He doesn't have a clue on what he should do. And he doesn't understand. This book is amazing and its definitely a 5 star. If you like the Maze Runner series, or other James Dashner books you will love the Mortality Doctrine

The Whizz Pop Chocolate shop was a gloriously chocolatey read, delivering all the delicious adventures it promises. It's unlike most books I've read, with immortal talking cats and rats, ghost elephants, and magic chocolate, but that just makes it all the more memorable. Kate Saunders did an excellent job at weaving together a believable and magic story about how two twins move into their great-great-great-great Uncle Pierre's home and get wrapped up in "government" work, only for there to be a tragic kidnapping that makes a great story about how even evil people have a soft spot in their hearts. "How kind of you to cry for me; I really don't deserve it." The only critisizement I have is that the drama in this book is blunt. For example, instead of "He leapt off the train like a cat and hit the gravel hard. His pulse wouldn't stop pounding." it would be "He jumped off the train and landed on a patch of gravel." Other than that, it was a unique book that I will think of every time I enjoy smooth, rich chocolate.

this is an awesome book!its bout a leader named brablestar who died to a sickness but he was alive again. Shadowpaw had a dream where he could help bramble star but the cat who walked in his dream, it was a trick and after bramblestar recovered he was a whole diffrent cat...

I use to love reading rainbow magic books that I actually read every rainbow magis book in my school and local libaray. I was a fan of it and Daisy Meadows used to be my fav author when I was yr1 and 2. But now I still like the adventures with Kirsty and Rachel.

I can’t wait to read it!!
