Kids Books - Graphic Novels

I don't technically own this book, but I've read it at the bookstore. This tells the tale of Jim Henson's childhood and all of his successful characters along the way. Jim has gone through a lot of rejection for his creations, but made a huge difference in kids' entertainment today.

Creative but emotionless Mandy is given a sketchbook from her older sister who is going to college. Mandy sketches her feelings as monsters inside. Soon, the drawings come to life and wreak havoc in the neighborhood! Mandy and the Happster monster must send them back, using Mandy's inner feelings.

I saw the movie when it came out in 2010 and i loved it and last year i started getting the hard cover novels this book has a charm and makes you want to read more

This activity book features puzzles, games, and comics about Riley's childhood in Minnesota. There are also stories from the mind world, the movie tale, and excerpts from the cinestory comic. At the end of the book, there are sneak peeks of other Pixar comics, including Monsters University.

Amelia has an interesting outlook on life. Her friends are wacky, her school's nuts and Christmas is chaos! This book had me falling backward, laughing. Besides the Christmas mall scene, my favorite part was Amelia's pal, Reggie's perspective on a lifetime career. Hilarious!

Amelia is back! This time, she tells recent stories of the crazy adventures of her and her friends. My favorite one was when Amelia and Reggie use a little girl to pose for Amelia during a babysitting night. The scene where the little girl ticks the sitter off was hysterical!
