Kids Books - Adventure Books

I thought I would like the book because Brian Lynch is also a writer for the Minions and The Secret Life of Pets. I've seen the movies and thought a book by him would be as funny. While Grumbolt, a not so ordinary toy, has a rough start being tossed away and ends of going on an adventure where it meets some other toss away toys who are on their way to Toy Academy to find a kid to own it and love it, the book is full of laughs, but very predictable. It is a chapter book, but the chapters are short and have some good cliff hangers at the end to keep you reading. I read it in one day and decided not to add it to my library. Younger kids might like it.

Toy Story is the greatest childrens' series ever published!!! So I can predict Toy Story 2 is beyond 'infinity'. :)

A satisfying pick up from the cliffhanger the last book ended on, this book begin right in the action. We get to see Connor develop further as well as the First Daughter. This book brought me to unexpected tears at times as well as proud and patriotic. I loved the alternate present it provided with President Mendez. Told through multiple POVs, the conclusion to his first mission pulled together in a gratifying bam. The book hardly slows down and tears through scenes. The writing is easy and to the point, although there is a fair amount of violence. I finished this book in a few hours. A fun, exhilarating summer read.

The trailers for it look really cool.I realy want to read this mostly because of the suspense

First off, he had always heard the legends of the mythical creature-filled town Tir Na Nog, but when he started training with the garda Special Unit, he discovered that Tir Na Nog is not a legend at all, but a real town! And yes! It WAS filled with faerie folk, leprechauns, you name it! And Ronan Boyle is the good guy amongst the crime-filled streets of Tir Na Nog, faced with new cases every day. But there is one ultimate thing Ronan wants to accomplish: clearing his parents' names. His bookish, museum curator parents were *SUPPOSEDLY* involved in a business of finding artifacts that could be considered Irish national treasures, and selling them to shady art dealers for da big bucks. But Lord Desmond Dooley accused Ronan's parents of *again, SUPPOSEDLY* stealing the "Bog Man," which was an artifact they found that ended up testing out to reveal it was over 4,000 years old, meaning it was Ireland's OLDEST KNOWN ARTIFACT. Ronan's parents were thrown into the slammer, and much to Ronan's dismay, barely seemed unhappy there, as they had BOTH joined GANGS at the jail!!!!! YES. PRISON GANGS. Yet Ronan still wants to clear their names regardless of their experience. In this laugh-out-loud funny novel, Ronan tries to find his place in the Tir Na Nog Special Unit, and all in all, the world. I thought this book was incredibly funny, the author Thomas Lennon has a great sense of humor when it comes to writing! Ronan was a very relatable character at times, and I stressed, smiled, and gasped with him along his journey throughout the book. This was a great book, and I recommend it to anyone who likes comedic, adventure, or folklore books!

I just finished ready Judy Moody Goes to College by Megan McDonald it was a very good book. I really enjoyed the book because I was always curious on what Judy Moody would say next because she is very sassy. Her math teacher says she needs to improve her math skills. Does this mean she needs a tutor or flashcard? f you want to know read the book!
