The author of Alabama Moon is Watt Key. Alabama Moon is about a boy and his Pap living "off the grid" an Alabama forest. He is hiding from the government which is trying to find them. Pap has always told Moon that the government is horrible but Moon doesn't understand why his Pap says that. When Pap dies and Moon is left to make his own decisions of what is right and what is wrong. This is a very well written book. I liked this book because I've always thought about what it would be like to live off the grid and with no civilization. Also I had a hard time putting this book down because there were so many things that would leave you wondering, what's going to happen next. This book is realistic fiction. There are a lot of people like Moon and his Pap today who live off the grid and hate the government. I would recommend this book to a middle school student. The type of reader that would enjoy this would probably be someone to enjoy action and someone who is a naturalist. In the story an example of an internal conflict is when Moon is in the woods with Kit. Kit becomes sick because he didn't take his medicine. Moon is kicking himself because he realizes that he should've brought Kit's medicine into the woods with them. Moon thought that everything that anyone would need could be found in the woods but, with Kit's medicine Moon realizes that this is not true. An external conflict throughout the book is man V. man. This is apparent when Moon faces Constable Sanders. Sanders hates Moon a lot and does everything he can to hurt Moon and get him back into a boys home or jail.

As a little girl, Sky was stranded on an island with only her mother, her mother's boyfriend, and his son River. As a teen, River and Sky are rescued from the island and go home to California. Only this does not seem like home to Sky. Read to find out what happens to her mother and River's father. Find out why Sky is not happy in California with her grandmother. Most importantly, find our how deep her love for River really is. Loved this story and enjoy recommending it.

I think you should read this book because it's just amazing and wonderful to see what happens to Eric and his family and see how it turns out with him going to his grand parents in till his parents get back. It just made me be more interested in the book and made me keep turning the page.

In the beginning this book is kinda confusing to me. As you get into it you really start to like it,, so i recommend it to people who are interested in horses.

This is the BEST BOOK SERIES EVER!!!! I just absolutely love love love love love this, and i would definitely recommend it to anyone. It is so interesting, and it features many funny parts.

I read the whole series but I think its a quiet bad book because like I really loved the first series but after the 1st series, the story is kind of out of track. If there was a hero which is Fireheart in the first series, but the next one didn't show any herotic scenes. Plus I really didn't like how the main character changed. To be honest, I recommend you to read only the first series. So I would say: first series: 5 stars 2nd,3rd,4th: 1 star super edition: 4stars

My favorite part of the book is when Alec and Henry train the Black for the race.I would recommend this book because it is very interesting to read.

Benson Fisher gets a scholarship to Maxfield Academy which he thinks is going to be a great opportunity but it isn't. Maxfield academy is dangerous- even... Deadly- if the students break the 4 big rules they get sent sent to detention- nobody EVER comes back from detention. Everyone says there's no way to it but Benson doesn't believe them he is determined to get it out. This is a very great book 5/5 stars it has a little of everything - sci-fi, fantasy, romance, action, and adventure. So yeah very good hope you read it! ❤- ajg15
