Looking for a action packed, breathtaking, exciting mystery? Then look no further than Deron Hick’s Van Gogh Deception. It tells the story of a young boy who remembers nothing about himself..... but her knows a disturbing amount about art. He’s taken in by a social services worker, and her daughter Camille. I highly recommend this book, and thanks for reading this review. hungrybowl433 is out!
Knights vs. Dinosaurs
By Matt Phelan
Victoria
The book I read is called Knights vs. Dinoisors and written by: Matt Phelon and the year it was written in was 2018. I like the book because there are dinoisors, nights ,and fighting. All four brave nights ,and a squire set off to find a particular cave with a fortune in it. As the sun rose Sir Eric pointed the way to the cave. On the way to the cave they had to fight 3 T-Rexs. They got to the cave but all they found was a tooth so they grabbed it and got on there horses and went home. When they got back to their Kingdom they presented the tooth to the King and Queen. In my opinion what I like about the book is what happens in chapter 10 A COME COOL SWIM because when one of the knights said”RETREAT “ they ran until they found a beautiful lake. One of the knights said” I suggest that we have a swim”. But when they were swimming and relaxing they were attacked by a water dragon. They killed the water dragon. In my opinion what I don’t like about the book is that there was only 14 chapters. I would want there to be more, then just 14 chapters. I wanted to know if there was something important about the tooth and the cave.I wanted to know if they had another journey.I really wish there was more to the book. I recommend this book to whoever likes KNIGHTS and DINOSAURS.
Small as an Elephant
By Jennifer Richard Jacobson
Have you ever been on a long walk that never ends? Have you ever walked from Acadia national park to York Maine before? Well that happened to Jack in Small as an Elephant by Jennifer Richard Jacobson. Jack goes on a camping trip with his mother to Acadia National Park. He wakes up the next morning and his mother is gone. He didn't know what to do at first. But he went on a journey by himself. Some people knew and they tried to help him but he ran away by the time they tired to him.i really recommend this to children 10 and up. I think it is a really good book and it has a lot of sad moments and good moments, but over all it was a really good book I would give the book a five star rating.
The Greatest Treasure Hunt in History: The Story of the Monuments Men (Scholastic Focus)
By Robert M. Edsel
If you like action and informational books than this book would be for you! It is about WWll and describing how Hitler and the Nazis were stealing important art masterpieces. I made a connection to this book from the world. WWll was a real thing and I read about it all the time. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who is into war or action.
Bartimaeus: The Ring of Solomon (A Bartimaeus Novel)
By Jonathan Stroud
I love Bartimaeus' snarky comments. he always makes me laugh! I recommend you read this book in your free time. I was recommended to read it by the superintendent of the archdiocese of Chicago. Yes, you read that right! I hope you have a very good time reading this book!
A Good Day for Climbing Trees
By Jaco Jacobs
It was weird at first but more interesting when you got deeper into the book and another cool feature about it is that it had a very heart-touching meaning but in the end it was very funny.
Ashes
By Ilsa J. Bick
It's end of the world but still lovable. It's 465 pages long, so pretty short, it's similar but not the same as The Enemy series. I finished it a few months ago but forgot to update. I enjoyed it, and think it's a cliff hanger. I went to read book two but it follows other people and we have no idea what happens! I still want to find book two and get a chance to finish it. I think you should read it. My sister thinks it weird, but I think it is pretty cool. Reply if you think weird or cool.
Maximum Ride Forever
By James Patterson
I would love to be able to fly! My favourite characters are Angel, Max, and then little baby Phoenix at the end. The flock are awesome. I think James Patterson is a great author and I want to be like him when I grow up. Angels powers are my favourite by far. Imagine being able to read minds!🕊
George and Harold's Epic Comix Collection Vol. 1 (Epic Tales of Captain Underpants TV)
By Meredith Rusu
This book has every comic George and Harold made from the first 2 seasons. It has mostly narrations, but is a decent book if you like George and Harold's comics.
Bleach (3-in-1 Edition), Vol. 1: Includes vols. 1, 2 & 3
By Tite Kubo
I haven't actually read the whole series, but I'm really hoping to. I've watched the anime (the tv version) with English subtitles, and I can't even tell you how much I recommend it. Bleach is really deep. Besides an awesome plot, fun and interesting (and attractive) characters, Bleach has a lot to learn from. It taught me many things, like respect, and how no one's strong enough to deal with everything on their own, and somehow when we lean on each other a little and all try to help each other out, we become stronger. Most importantly of all, it made me realize how important it is to listen to your feelings. They're important, and they're there for a reason, but of course you need to use logic to decide your actions as well. Bleach somehow helped me find the right balance of that, and I can't thank the author, the series, and the people who made it into an anime enough!
