By Kenneth Oppel
This book is about Steve, who’s family is welcoming a new baby. But the baby has problems, problems that could lead to him not living a full life. His parents are stressed to the max, and there’s nothing Steve can do. But when he starts dreaming about fairy like creatures, he finds a whole world, where they can make the perfect baby, the baby to lead dreams into reality, and so Steve and his family don’t have to worry anymore. All he has to do is say yes. One word. But yes is very powerful, and it’s hard to take back. This book is pretty good, and I would recommend it to you guys who love realistic fiction/fantasy! ;)
The Wide-Awake Princess
By E. D. Baker
loving this book so far. it is just like slepping beauty except the author changed it a little to make it more entertaining. my favorite part so far is when gwendolen [sleeping beauty] opens her presents from her 16th birthday and one present is this tree and you crank a key and i think it turns into a bird and then she cranks another key and it turns into an egg and then she cranks another key and then the egg splits into 4 pieces and the egg lets out a gold object with gems and the princess gwendolen catches it as the object almost hits the ground. but little did the princess know that it was a minnie spindle that was sent in by the witch she fell into a deep sleep.i know that my favorite part was long but it was interesting . i recommend this book to people who love fairy tales with a twist in it. this book is for grade 3 and up. it is a novel witch means no pictures.so if your looking for pictures this might not be the best book for you. it is very interesting . i hope you enjoy it.

A great book! Dive into the Warriors world with this manga adventure, sure to thrill all readers! “Purrfect”, and definitely recommended for animal lovers. Is living alone harder than expected? For Sasha, it definitely is. After meeting Tigerstar, a wild cat, she’d thought that she could make a future with him. She was wrong. Tigerstar had many secrets—and evil buried deep inside his heart. He plotted to take over the other wild cats in the forest, killing many of them...and proved himself to be more dangerous than any cat could have known. Now, Sasha lives alone as a rogue, fighting for her every meal, hungrier than she’d ever been before. This makes her wonder; is she really meant to be a rogue? Or should she return to the forest? Read this book to find out!

Amazing! A terrific thrill ride...impossible to put down, and a truly good book. Fight or die. Stay safe—or take a big risk. There is a choice. Ravenpaw and his friend Barley are cats who live on a farm, with shelter and all the mice they can eat. But their past isn’t that simple. Barley was raised among a group of vicious cats called BloodClan, who nearly killed his sister, and Ravenpaw was part of the warrior Clans, raised to be wild...until another cat tried to kill him. With the help of their friends, both of them managed to escape. Now, they learn that Ravenpaw’s former Clan is being terrorized by none other than...Tigerstar, the cat who tried to kill him, and BloodClan, Barley’s former pursuers! The past has come back to haunt both of them—and they must fight. Will they join the battle? Can they help a friend in need, but let go of the past? Read this book to find out!
Warriors: SkyClan and the Stranger #3: After the Flood

Awesome! A very exciting book, enthralling an impossible to put down! I definitely recommend it for readers of all ages. After the flood that nearly destroyed her Clan, Leafstar isn’t sure she’s ready to lead the other cats anymore. They are all scared of what happens next—will they have to move their camp? Every cat is on edge...every cat is fearful. And if they don’t find a solution to getting new territory, all will be lost. Meanwhile, a rogue cat who had lived with their Clan is causing trouble, trying to force Leafstar into making him a warrior. But she isn’t sure whether this rogue is trustworthy—or not. Then, after he takes Leafstar’s kits, she knows he has committed a crime beyond the code...beyond everything the warrior cats know. Can she convince the Clan to drive him away, though? Jack: The True Story of Jack and the Beanstalk
By Liesl Shurtliff
I love this author overall. He unique writing style of taking fairytales and making them into something that any age could enjoy is very cool. I think one of the issues of writing like that is that you still have to keep the storyline of the fairytale. Shurtliff definetly got that down pat. In the story, Jack's family is poor. One day, they wake up to see their crops gone. They all think it's nothing, except for a weird guy who thinks it was giants. Nobody believes him but it happens again, this time in the day. Jack's father is taken away by a big arm. Jack trades his only cow to the weird old person for some magic beans. Jack and his little sister go on a mission to save their father, and maybe find out more about giants then they ever meant to in the process.
