A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

This book is really cool. I highly recommend it to people who haven't read it yet. It tells about.... well I don't want to spoil the book for you. You'll just have to find out.

i want to read so bad

In a world where war has raged for twenty years, only 5 dragonet's can save them…if they can just get out of this mountain. But what happens when they meet the queen of the SkyWings, and get on her bad side. And maybe it wasn't such a good idea to leave the "lazy RainWing" with the people who wanted to get rid of her, or the "defective" SandWing. Maybe freedom isn't so great, but now they're on the run, and trying to get back to their families.

cool love it but it was ok

lt was ok

This book is awesome. I recommend this book to people who like fantasy books.

This book is about four chosen dragonets (Clay, a MudWing, Sunny, a SandWing, Tsunami, a SeaWing, and Starflight, a NightWing.)and one "spare" dragonet (Glory, a RainWing) who were stolen as eggs from their own tribes. (except one) They grow up together under a mountain with their awful guardians (the Talons of Peace). They escape when a strange dragon threatens Glory, the "spare" dragonet. They get caputred by the evil SkyWing queen, Queen Scarlet. They are forced to fight in an arena with a other dragon and dragonet prisoners. They discover that Glory has a "magical death spit" that saves Clay's life in the arena. They also discover that Clay's scales and wings are fireproof, when he is forced to fight a dragon made entirely out of fire. Peril, (the dragon made out of fire) helps Clay and his friends escape to try finding Clay's mother. Clay is dissapointed to find his mother, Cattail, sold him for a cow to the Talons of Peace. Then, they find out that Tsunami's mother is the famous Queen Coral of the SeaWings! To be continued in the next book, The Lost Heir.

I read this book because it has dragons and it is action packed
