A thrilling new series soars above the competition and redefines middle-grade fantasy fiction for a new generation!

The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.

Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.

But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

noah noah

This is my most favorite seiries. I wish I could keep it but I got it from my school library.

I read this a little in 5th grade but I wanna try this again

I think this book would be an amazing read for anyone who even remotely likes dragons because the characters or well crafted and are relatable even though there dragons and the rest of the series only gets better

I really enjoyed this book. It is about the movement, the Talons of Peace, who are determined to stop the war between the 7 tribes. But the 5 dragnets are the only tools to fixing the problem.

This is a really fun boom and is SIMPLY AMAZING

This was a great book, and they did a good job on the review

This book was recommended by Natasha. I can't stop reading the second I open this book. It leads me into a mystery dragon world. I can see the main character, Clay, flying around trying to escape from dangers, and understand different dragons' feelings just by reading this book. As you keep reading , you'll find out there are seven types of dragons in this book, Mudwing, Sandwing, Rainwing, Icewing, Nightwing, Seawing, and Skywing. The only dragon that can stop this infinite war is the five dragonets of destiny, Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Sunny, and Starflight. They need to find a way to escape from their prison, yet still manage to stop the war. I heard this is a series of books, and I'm really looking forward to continue reading them.
