Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

If you are hungry for more Hunger Games, this book is for you. Take the survival theme of the Hunger Games, add a dash of love and a fierce government, and you get Catching Fire. If you were interested in Katniss's life after the Games, read this book!

hmm, Catching Fire is ok but not as good as the Hunger Games...i hate Mockingjay though since its so depressing and nobody wants to read about wars.

That's exactly what I thought! It was really good, but not quite as good as the first book. Mockingjay was really just terrible, though. Too much death and fighting for me.

This is one of the best books I have ever read I have read the series and recommend this book and series to everyone!
